LN's Serena replacements review the new jerseys.

Kinda bummed about the numbers being ironed on, instead of stitched on.

I’m not spending $110 on a jersey with any name on it. Strictly replicas for me I guess If I cared to buy one. I just can’t justify it.

But then again, I just bought popcorn for $8 at the movies lol

Wait, I thought the whole point of going Swingman over Replica was that Swingman had stitched on numbers. Made it look more legit and reliable since the ironed on numbers seem to fade away after a few years.

If they’re both stitched, what’s the difference between Swingman and Replica that would warrant the higher price?

Swingman is a higher quality fabric, breathable mesh. The replicas are a lower quality fabric. I saw both at the store and the swingman was definitely higher quality even if the numbers aren't stitched.

Man, that's a nice picture. Can't wait to see those guys on the court! Too bad there's no Hart in the pic.

Don't even think about shopping Hart in there instead of Bron!

...like the retro lettering of the team name. Hope to relive the glory of that era.

I drove to the Lakers team store in El Segundo a few days ago to check it out. They had almost nothing but LeBron stuff. I came to get a Kuz jerseys and see if they had anything else I wanted, but apparently they don’t get the other players jerseys until September.

I almost talked myself into getting a Bron jersey or shirt
    :Kobepuking:

but I just couldn’t bring myself to buy it. I ended up walking away with nothing. I guess I’ll order online.

BTW, I thought the purple jersey looked much better than people are giving it credit. My girlfriend liked it much more than the gold when I tried it on. I think I’m getting a purple Kuz jersey ASAP. Also, there’s a substantial difference in the quality of the $110 jerseys vs the $79. Thicker, and more sturdy looking, and the Lakers patch on the $110 version looked much better than the thick screen printed ink on the $79 ones. I just hope it doesn’t come off easily, because it looked like the logo was ironed on with my initial first glance.

Was graciously gifted a jersey and they fire for real. Although the $110 swingman jersey I got has it going all the way around, why am I still noticing inconsistencies in the arm piping?

s***, its even in 2K footage...

Btw they have BI looking like AD in this video...you don't think...haha

I honestly think there will be an authentic jersey valued at $200 that will have the piping look alot like how it looks above...that's my guess, cause if you go to the official Lakers Store online, this is what they display for the authentic jerseys (which surprisingly are only available for Zo and Kuz).

Me and a friend were talking today...with the team rocking jerseys reminiscent of the Showtime era, we said it would be cool if the Lakers wore royal blue sleeves, sweatbands, pads, etc. a few games a year as a nod to the original Showtime teams. Case in point:

Hell, if we can wear powder blue at home half the time and banana yellow on the road, why couldn't we pull this off? Just a thought lol

Those sleeves aren’t good for the knees I thought. And I wish they would retire those powder blue jerseys.
