    That's pretty hyperbolic.

Not to mention, Deng's contract is even worse. Seems to me people just like using Mozgov as a punching bag.

For the CBA experts in here:

Can we trade our 2017 pick BEFORE the deadline? In other words, could we trade away the possibility of landing a Top 3 pick?

And if we can, what happens if the pick goes to Philly (lands 4 or lower)? Does our trading partner get our pick in 2018? Does it impact our 2019 first rounder that Orlando is scheduled to get in this scenario?

Sam Amick made it sound like it's a near certainty that George would wanna come to L.A. if the Pacers can't significantly improve their roster to the point where George feels like they can compete for a ring. In other words sounds like he's gonna do what Kobe did in 2007 if they lose in the first round again and demand a trade and don't significantly upgrade the roster. Hopefully they don't trade for their Pau Gasol.

Myles Turner could, but I doubt they trade him.

The pacers are pretty much screwed and stuck in mediocrity, best thing for them is a rebuild around Myles Turner, that's why if they were smart they'd listen to what we'll offer and take it, because eventually just like OKC lose their star player for a bag of chips

Hate the source. But would definitely do Sully (Expiring) / Pick for Nick Young. Toronto is all in this year so maybe we can fleece them a bit. Late first or multiple 2nds.

Recent trades have set the bar really high for the value of a 1st round pick, so I'd be stunned if the Lakers can get a 1st for Young. But the Lakers could certainly push for two 2nd round picks from Toronto. That's not unrealistic.

I'm probably in the minority, but I want Zu playing 25 - 30 minutes a game the rest of the season. I don't want to invest in a center (Cousins, Drummond, or anyone else) and want to allow Zu to reach his potential. I think his ceiling is REALLY high. But he can't reach it sitting behind a center, no matter who it is.

Wondering what the board feels about trading half the assets for PG, the other half for Drummond. And then see what we could do in free agency.

Iggy is a former Pelinka client. Wade, Durant and Curry are also Free Agents (assuming Durant opts out).

I'd be very open to trading for PG, but not even close to as interested in Drummond. I wouldn't offer much for him at all. He can score, and sure his rebounding numbers are really good, but that FT% in the 40s is awful. To me he's a 2nd tier guy and I don't offer a lot for that. I offer a lot for PG because he can start to turn your team around, but in the case of a Drummond I'd rather wait on guys to develop, like Zu as John brought up.
