    Nutrition has nothing to do with this. We hadn't been discussing health-related virtues of pizza toppings, rather what goes or doesn't go onto a pizza by some antiquated culinary traditions.

    The claim for fruit not belonging there certainly hadn't been made with nutrition in mind.

    You guys are just old-fashioned. And that's perfectly fine. Establishing, based on your personal taste, what belongs where isn't.

    It's not really the topics that are polarizing, it's the behaviour (present company excluded) of some people in context of some topics. I've had pizza arguments before. And some people are willing to fight you for not agreeing with them.

    I don't mind one not liking pineapple on pizza. I f***ing do mind one being a j****** about me not agreeeing with them.

    It's true about a lot of stuff these days. The corona BS just illustrated and empasized it perfectly.

    It is somewhat convinient, though, to find out who out of your friends/relatives is really an idiot and should not be trusted. Or neighbours. Or forum members :)
