Does it hurt more seeing Ohtani doing his usual incredible feats on the Dodgers now going forward than I’d imagine you are happy for him too to now finally be with a top tier winning team and organization?

Meh, with how equal the NBA is during the regular season (at least in the West), I don't put much stock into this. Many people outside of here to loves to shoot down how we won our ring in the "bubble" in 2020. Both teams are more than deserving lol.

You can only beat what's in front of you. Unfortunately for us, that means a joke Eastern Conference that is like Lebron's days with the Cavs.

Minny would give a tough series to Boston. Mavs won't pose more problems I think. They are perfectly built to go against 2 star guards. Have the best POA defender guards and their forwards can take them too, so they are fully switchable.
But Luka is on a tear and this Mavs team are well built to win it all.

Mavs are also better closers than Boston, where they have struggle. Plus, I think Boston will drop 1 of the first 2 at home. There's a chance

Was that the true value of Westbrick as a Laker?

It was bad to lose him. He was a great player for us

But he's now on another team so I don't follow him

And now I do. The ONLY thing that surprises me is that Trout never walked.

    I'm surprised at that also

That he hasn't demanded a trade is good for the Angels at the gate, but at this point it could/should happen

trout doesn't care about winning. he's content playing on a s***ty team as long as he's getting paid and living in a mansion by the beach. if he cared, he would've left the first chance he got years ago when it became apparent the angels weren't going to surround him with talent

good on ohtani for getting the hell out of there when he got the chance

Probably too late, he is kind of damaged goods and on a big team, he would get slammed for missing the playoffs every other year or more. He has already wasted his best years, might as well just play it out on the Angels.

Angels are not and never been a serious Ball club ! They are more like take the family to a ball game and enjoy a hot dog and buy a rally monkey on your way out

They did make it to one World Series in 2002 and won it, under Scioscia.

Incorrect. Disney owned it at that time. In 2003 it was sold to Arte Moreno.

Disney and gene shared ownership. Either way Artie was not the owner. The team went south as soon as he bought the team.

He will give away all the money to 1 superstar player then leave a s***ty team around him and jack up the tix prices

I used to say that the Padres were not selling baseball, they were in the hotdog business.
