    Halftime.

Can we announce either Bron's extension and/or JJ's hiring in 24 game minutes. That way we can steal some of the ESPN coverage after this massacre. This thing is over. Boston playing 3x as hard as Dallas.

f***ing buzzer from half court shows what unbelievably lucky season C Bags had.
Well maybe Jeannie decides to spend money to be contender

yikes: Lakers selecting Lonzo ahead of Tatum looking uglier as the years go on.
(admittedly Fox was my favorite player in the draft not Tatum: loved him in that tournament)

Minnesota and Denver would have caused C Bags all sort of problems as they attack with size inside.
This playoffs have all about matchups: Wolves had all these bigs to throw at Jokic, but no big wings to defend Luka. Lakers would have looked real good matching up against the C Bags with AD causing havoc but didn't have a guy to throw at Murray/Jokic. Now C Bags have 2 big wings to throw at Luka and 2 pgs to throw at Kyrie and don't have to worry about a big killing them.

maybe but Tatum throughout his career has been way better then BI and Lonzo. If Tatum was made available the Lakers wouldn't have to given up so many picks to get AD: Lakers would have a lot more leverage in that one for sure

plus he wouldn't have been on the C Bags lol

let's just be glad GSW won it all in 2022, or else we'd likely be looking at the C Bags winning #19 right now

really sucks, but it feels a little better knowing the lakers have far more titles in the modern era than boston does. this is only the C Bags 4th title in the last 30 years

It had to happen sometime, now it’s on us to catch them again. It hurts a little less that I don’t hate any of their players, just the franchise. The 2008 team had so many hateable guys compared to this roster, they even got rid of Marcus Smart before winning it.

yeah, boston was the best team in the league this year, and i don't dislike any of their players. there's no rivers there, no ainge.

let's focus on getting back to prominence ourselves.

brooklyn should get half a title for gifting boston the two picks they used to draft tatum/brown in that KG/pierce trade

that's looking like the NBA's version of the herschel walker trade

didn't help that philly traded up with them for fultz and we took lonzo ahead of tatum that year. yeesh.

as others said, i didn't foresee tatum being this good (nor did a lot of people), but i definitely wasn't sold on lonzo at #2 that year.

but to me, what got them the ring was the holiday trade. brogdon and robert williams, man. that was the ring right there. holiday was THE difference.

brown and tatum aren't really that great of a star duo, imo. both guys borderline all-nba. but having holiday/white/horford and then zinger here and there on top of them is a luxury nobody else had.
