No fears have you not watched the draft performance from Lakers last most of decade, but they probably won’t get the chance unless the other team asks them to.

Just thinking watching him shoot it’s not ideal to jump that far forward as good recipe for landing on defender’s feet in addition to the times he’s going to be running them under you with fouls.
I am also a UCLA basketball fan and I agree with you. He was very impressive in the tournament. He will make it in the NBA, not sure how far but he would likely be worth someone taking a chance at him. Wouldn't mind it being us.
It depends on who is available. Period. Yeah he has liabilities but most college players coming after the first 20 picks do. The kid can score. It is worth something.
I love Johnny Juzang. Of course I am a Bruin myself so I’m in his corner. He was great in the tournament, coming up with clutch basket after basket. We could do a lot worse at 22!
Lol. I hear you on that. In Juzang's defense, I don't think he's a bad guy to look at later in the draft given his shooting ability and ability to perform in the clutch. I haven't followed college hoops closely at all this year so I'm not sure who we would legitimately be looking at there.
I expect him to be gone by the time we pick but I like him. He can shoot and is a 4 year guy so he may be able to contribute faster
Any sleeper Bigs, at not horribly late 22nd pick, from US or any other country who have committed to the draft …. after the obvious 1-3 top ones (?) (no idea) and all the other priorities on PGs and Wings and shooting? Not skinny guys, guys capable of reasonably physically playing now? That could be like Myles Turner or name someone else lite?
There is always a chance for a sleeper. Jokic was picked way late in the draft. He developed pretty well.

yeah, and we picked up zubac in the second, too. but really good bigs rarely make it to the 2nd round, jokic being the exception proving the rule. that said, i feel like there are lots of busts at the top of the draft among bigs, and that some taken a bit later (mid-first) tend to be better. both indy's bigs were late lotto/mid-first, for example. okafor, WCS, and kaminsky were taken ahead of myles turner. dragan bender, chriss, poeltl, and thon maker were taken ahead of sabonis. but both went earlier than we'll be picking. mason plumlee went #22, and that's exactly the kind of player we could use.
