All of those are good, all of them. My personal rank is Incredibles, Inside Out, Wall-E, then Up. Inside Out may be the best film of them all, that's just my ranking based on taste. If I had to watch one, it's The Incredibles. That movie came out at a time when I didn't feel superhero or comic book movies were being done well yet, and it set the bar for what could be done. No, I wasn't a big fan of the 2002 Spider-Man. Inside Out I was initially not interested in at all, and even with me not really wanting to watch it I came out thinking it was brilliant. Up, for me is also good, but it kinda loses me at a certain point. The premise is wacky to start, yes, but it gets too wacky for me. Wall-E I love, but as I said before people seem to love or hate it, and there's a certain point in that film where people tend to go one way or the other like with Up, but a much more dramatic tonal shift I'd say. I know people call these kids films, but I just call them animated films, they're for all ages.

Watched Spectre last night... Well done. That big villain that Bond dispatched on the train was really good. B+ Craig's last stint as 007?
Coincidentally, I finally watched Spectre last night too. And I would give it the same grade. And I agree on Dave Bautista, he was great in this, and he literally said one word. Thats the 3rd movie I've liked him in now, he doesn't go over the top, you don't go "hey that's that wrestler guy" like with many others from that profession that become actors. And yes, I believe this was Craig's last Bond. He signed up for 5 movies, this was the 4th, but he has said he really doesn't want to do more, and I read he recently signed up for a tv series that will take up a lot of his time in the foreseeable future. I can see how he'd want to move on, and if he does I think he got a proper ending to his Bond run in this one.
I love the Emperor's New Groove. One of the funniest Disney animated movies ever. I think it doesn't get a lot of mention because it was a smaller movie, toward the end of their traditional animated film run, where they made some real bad ones, and it gets lumped in. But really it was the best of those later ones (though I don't think Treasure Planet is as bad as people say either), and it still cracks me up when I watch it.
Agree... When Brosnan was let go, I liked Clive Owen to have been the next one but Craig did grow on me. The Bond franchise is iconic so it will be interesting where they will go when the latter walks away... The movies with him has been devoid of camp yet worth the watch though Quantum Of Solace did not register with me. Maybe a second try...
Eh, maybe, but Quantum of Solace is pretty universally panned. I've seen it twice I think, and I can't remember much about it other than the actor who plays the villain. I own the bluray, just because I love Craig as bond and I had to have all the movies of his series because it's one continuous story. But, I bought it when it was really cheap, but I never watch it. At some point I will watch all 4 Craig Bond's in a row, maybe I will like it better that way, maybe Skyfall and Spectre will even help it in some way, seeing it as a piece of the puzzle and not a poor follow-up to a movie I absolutely love in Casino Royale.
I don't get the hate for Quantum. I enjoyed it well enough. Obviously it didn't hit the highs of Casino, but it wasn't the stinking pile of garbage some people describe it as. Everyone is watching Spectre lol. Coincidentally, I started watching Spectre on a plane ride day before yesterday but only got about 10-15% into the movie before we landed. From what I saw, tonally...I just didn't get it. The funny stuff with Q didn't feel like it fit this new Bond universe. Classic Bond, even Brosnan Bond, yes...but not now. If it's Craig's last Bond film I wouldn't be surprised, because he felt like he was phoning it in early in the film. His wrinkles are really starting to show now as well (the eyes getting that sleepy look to them), so his timer might be almost up. As much as I LOVE Monica Bellucci, she was really stiff in the brief scenes I saw from her and has obviously aged. But weirdly I have seen her on talk shows after Spectre was released and she looked gorgeous, much better than in the movie...so not sure what happened there. Anyways, I hope the rest of the movie picks up because the early stuff was not that great. The film I watched before that was Whiplash. LOVED that. Just an intense ride, awesome performances, and some great music.
Agree. I got the feeling that everyone in the theater (mostly adults) really enjoyed it too. My son is 16 and into horror flicks and comedies and even he loved it.
I thought it was really good. A great modernization of the classic story. Murray and Elba were fantastic. Walken was great.
Jungle Book was really good. With the CGI in that, it makes you wonder why they couldn't get the CGI in the upcoming Warcraft movie to look more lifelike.
I assumed the CGI in Warcraft was intentionally done that way to match the cartoony style of the video game.
I'm talking even the skin textures. I get that the animation style of the characters might match the game a bit. But the hair, skin, etc looks very cartoony.
I assumed they did that because the movie had the budget of a commercial. Seriously, when I saw the trailer start in the theater before Star Wars, I thought it was a commercial for a new game, looked truly awful.
So I just literally just say batman v superman... While the movie did drag on for a little, and the scenes had to cover a bunch of stuff in a short span of time, it was pretty damn good. I didn't get everyone's complain that it was a terrible movie. It was not terrible at all. It was a great movie with some flaws..... thats all it really was.
