In our frustration let's not overlook that MWP played very well again today against Knicks. Good defense, 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block, 0 TO in 16 minutes and sunk a couple 3s in 8 less attempts than Kobe today. 2-2.

MWP was pretty superb out there today. Scott should have left him in the game at the end instead of Kobe if he really wanted that win, honestly.

He was absolutely fantastic. The offense must have been a fluke, but his D was just great, he looked almost like young Artest

Scott chose to develop the young Kobe over going with old Metta and playing for the win for once ... DON'T BLAME HIM !

He's been taking good shots and has been shooting decently, even well for the short minutes he's had to this point with his 2s and 3s.

You had a fantastic game on both ends MWP, until Byron decided it wasn't needed anymore. Seriously great game.

    Eff of Byron.

MWP kept us in the game tonight but of course didn't get to play again even with Nick cold as ice out there.

Another superb game from MWP. Probably could have used him out there in that atrocious fourth quarter. Byron? And yeah, Kobe should take some three point shooting lessons from MWP.

Who would have thought that out of Kobe and Metta, the latter is the one that ages gracefully ;)
I never thought he would be as good as he is (even though i love him). Big props and i apologize fore being a man of small faith ;).

I can't believe this is the same player we saw 3 years ago blowing layups and bricking threes. He's everywhere on D, he's swishing shots I haven't seen him even make for many years, it's kind of blowing my mind. I don't know if he can keep this up for a whole season, playing higher than expected minutes, but I sure hope so, and I'll enjoy it while it lasts anyway. He's one of our best all around players right now, and he can change a the tone of our defense witn a single sweet play with those crazy quick hands of his.

He's obviously been keeping his body fit. Guy is way leaner than when we last had him. Maybe that's helping him out this time around.

Yes. I've noticed the same thing. Ron was massive before, football player size. Losing weight has helped his mobility.

As we mentioned in Game Time, he's playing extremely well right now.
