I want Metta to make the team so bad.

He brings something this team sorely needs. If this thing comes down to it, we have plenty of what Jabari brings in scoring and youth.

Jabari is redundant right now, we have plenty of guards that can score. He's also a black hole and has shown bad attitude.

Ronron, he's one of a kind and gives this team another veteran presence and toughness. He doesn't need to play big minutes, need to bother a guy? Send him in for a couple mins.

Not worth keeping Jabari Brown over Metta, give Peace a chance.

I like Metta's intangibles, his intensity, his attitude is good for the young guys. He's good for the locker room. But, his on the court play is just abysmal. Is it worth it? I guess if we have a spot open. If it's either him or jabari, its metta.

He might not be what he was but he brings defensive intensity every time he's in. I agree with everyone here Jabari is a a poor JC duplicate and therefore redundant.

I think @alam1108 hit the nail on the head about we not really needing additional help at the 2 guard spot which is why I believe that MWP will make the team instead. What Jabari does is a little redundant when you have Lou, Nick, and Clarkson. While we're still a little thin at the 3.

Plus Metta IMO is the better teammate and had help in other areas by being someone our guy players can look up to and see how serious he takes his craft.

Is it between Metta and Jabari for the 14th spot and they are keeping one open, or is it for the 15th spot?

Not sure what will happen in the case of Holmes since he got hurt. I think he was on the chopping block. But does this change things?

Nah I think they just waive him. My understanding is you can waive an injured player, but you have to then it guarantees the entirety of their contract. A dislocated shoulder? For a young guy, shouldn't be a really long recovery time. They're just waiting for him to be "healed" then they'll cut him. That's why cuts are likely early next week.

I like it, Jabari is a good scorer, but we have a lot of those. MWP will be a valuable practice guy, locker room guy, and can get on the floor for a few minutes here and there when the team needs a boost. This is a season of learning and growth for the young guys, we aren't winning a title, so why not.

Meanwhile in Houston..... James Harden doesn't want to get out of bed for some reason.

If we can keep Sacre because he's a pro and a good lockerroom presence, Metta was a no brainer :).
