yeah, at least as a backup. i've mentioned pappagiannis before, and there are probably others like that who look ready for a shot (or, in that case, another shot).

Lol saw the thread alive and came here to write exactly that. He's not dead. And can be a spicy expiring by the deadline if we need.
Until then, he's exactly the type of guy who can give 10-15min of a stretch 5 JJ seems to like.

If he's still good, we have a decent backup for the PO. If he's washed, great trade assets by the deadline

Interesting if he really is healthy

Would he play in front of Hayes or be 3rd string?

Kleber covers PF and C. He'd be a tremendously helpful player if he was healthy and at the level of a season or two ago. He probably replaces Vando in the playoff roster and allows us to play a switch kind of defence quite well, while still being a decent shooter.

he's just never healthy anymore. and i think it's taken a cumulative toll. if kleber from three years ago showed up, jj would be thanking the good lord, but i don't think he's walking through that door.

if he ends up on the roster to start the season, i could totally see him helping out when guys are hurt, though.

To be fair, a broken foot isn’t a breaking down injury, it’s usually a, that was an unfortunate incident injury. So you’re generally optimistic they heal well.
