Yes, if he had to isolate or attempt to finish around the rim.

He's also been struggling with his shot in particularly with catch and shoot opportunities, off the bounce, etc

But he's 19 and it's summer league. No big deal.

i haven't seen the last two games, but in the first one, i thought his shoot looked fine. he was short on a couple, but he was balanced and had a good release point, good arc, looked like good rotation, and he wasn't missing left and right that i saw. iow: i could see why people project him as a decent shooter.

i didn't get the same vibe from pippen, whose results have been better, but i just don't like the look of it nor do i think he'll be able to get his shot off at the next level.

Pippen struggled last game against length. He had some moments, but he was lackluster.

His form looks fine on his shot. As you said, it just ends up short snd it did the same at MSU, too.

Christie will be a Wing-Stopper eventually.

I have to give a good portion of that blame to the front office for tying Vogel's hands so tight. If he had his own staff and enough security to hold players accountable it would have gone different also. Players knew he was regulated to being a puppet. Imo he was the coach in title only last season. You don't go from being a good coach and winning a title to suddenly forgetting everything you ever knew about basketball.

He’s fine, he’s 19, he was a 2nd round pick, he’s a project, he’s not even going to see the court his rookie year.

lol that's what i thought about reaves last year. i was like, he looks nice, maybe in a year he'll get some burn. nope. he was our third-best player.

but i agree. christie's not ready for the big squad right now. i did like his size and movement/activity on defense in the game i saw, which is great.

Rob, not the time. You're supposed to be meeting with Marks. But congrats to Christie.

He’s got work to do but I think he looks fine on defense. Gonna need some time to develop.

I hope we're able to develop and keep him.
His shooting needs work but the form is there. His man defense is great and thats hard to teach.

we seem to be only team that gives out only 2 yr deals to 2nd rd picks or non drafted guys, most teams do 3-4 yr deal at like 1m/avg, we gona have to spend on Reaves this next off season

Lakers don’t value their prospects long term
