No One Here has forgotten those two need to be healthy. Why would you think you have to say the same tired thing about it every freaking post. It doesn’t explain away (whether he’s lacking some on Xs and Os or not) … the complete unfairness of the roster and lack of available decent players due to various reasons available to Frank this year PLUS the bad attitude, uncooperative, severely under performing version of Russell Westbrook he had to deal with as a lame duck coach. LeBron and AD blah blah blah doesn’t mean even if we make the playoffs with what happened to that roster that we wouldn’t have fallen probably much shorter of a ring than what we had to work with 2 years earlier. “Magic” or no “magic” from them.

Because Lebron/AD blah blah, blah is infinitely more important than anything just you posted period. You can yap all day but nothing you can post overrides the main thing. YOU have not experienced this team being any good without Davis and James playing at all. That's because it has never happened! Westbrook blah,blah...that's a sideshow.

Yeah...everyone knows it's important, yet then proceed to blame something else like it didn't really matter. Especially YOU.

If the main thing was on point, you wouldn't be complaining about Russell Westbrook.

What do AD, Bron or Westbrook have to do with our new rookie Christie? This is Max’s thread.

He started it. :D With his ad nauseum, self evident LBJ and AD have to be healthy. And no one will miss Vogel crack. IN Max’s thread. Triggered. I’ll do better. He won’t.

Didn't know that Christie has an 8'7" standing reach.
    Thank you!

in fairness, when i brought up THT's and walker's standing reach compared to all the wings everyone wanted, i got crickets. and more crickets.

lesson: people on this forum think you play basketball with the top of your head.

LOL. I must have missed that.

    Yeah, and 6-9 wingspan.

Thinking he becomes a really good defender when he puts on 12-15 pounds.

everybody did! all the wings everyone wanted had basically similar standing reaches, and almost none of them rated as great defenders.

lonnie is small and sucks from three and on d. danuel house has a shorter standing reach, shoots about the same from three career-wise, and wasn't a plus-defender until last year. but he'd have been a coup, and walker's the worst signing of the offseason (truth is house is harden's stripclub wingman and walker's a klutch guy).

Yeah, Lonnie has a 6-10 and an 8'3 wingspan. I think he's appropriately sized for an SG but his defense sucks.

I'd have take House over Lonnie, though.

i said i would have, too, but it's not the slam dunk it looks like if you dig in a bit. you'd have to heavily weight last year's small sample size on house to make the strongest case.

now that we know opj went for the two-year mini, i'm just not that broken up about our use of the slot. we got an interesting high-ceiling prospect on a one-year deal, a lot like nunn last year. let's hope it turns out better!

I know you said that, and I agreed.

The MLE Targets weren't overly impressive. I do like Bruce Brown going to Denver, though. That's mainly because I like the fit and think Malone along with super assistant David Adleman just know how to optimize pieces there for the most part. Doesn't hurt playing with Jokic and Murray who should return by that time.

That said, I've already mentioned what I think was one of the biggest issues with Lonnie: his usage on a bad basketball team. He had the second highest usuage on the Spurs behind Murray without the efficiency. The analytics bear that out.

We have a lot of player development guys (some of the best) and with a couple of little tweaks to shot selection and lower usuage with a defined role, he has a shot to be serviceable and be a net positive on the basketball floor.

brown should look good in denver. not sure if he'd look the same here or not.

i did think it was weird that bkn didn't keep him (they had his early bird rights, i believe). i'll be watching that one.

Holy crap Batman. Max is bricking at a worse % I would guess than the Big Bricker himself. :speechless: Kid has an incredible frame to put muscle on and is quick and smooth and long and coordinated. But he’s not close on most of the misses.

well i mean its not like he shot well in college, odd that the 3pt % was ignored because he has a "smooth" shot.....

He had one stretch in February in college where his shooting took dramatic dip.

That was one of the main reasons his shooting was down.

    That said, he's struggling offensively.

However, defensively, he's popped on screen and against Moody (who played against NBA competition) & Murray (the 4th pick in the draft) who did most of his damage while Max wasn't guarding him I believe.
