Just another great pick up in a long line of them this past 7-8 years. Love his attitude. Shooting 43.7 from deep playing under the bright lights of the LA Lakers at 19 years old. Sheeeeooooott!!! :THT Heart Hands:
@karacha .... LOL I saw what you did there with the vanishing period "." trick to clean the slate of a reply you decided not to make. Use it all the time.
I will be pissed if we do. He is exactly the type of player every team wants right now- just lacking the experience.
If the team does well with a traditional 3 starting with a 2 (would like to see Max and Brown as starters) - hopefully Ham will abandon the two PG lineups entirely
uneven game against dallas. they went after him mercilessly on defense, and i thought he actually did an ok job after getting the wrong end a couple of times. he looked like he was a bit hesitant to shoot after missing an open three early, but he canned one in rhythm later. i like that he's getting starts and reps. good investment, imo.
I'm really digging this kid's energy! He's got great instincts and I do think he can emerge as an excellent 3 and D wing as he matures.
he gets his body in good position on drives. he'll learn how to avoid those foul calls, imo. sad that it's another year of the bright spot being unexpected success and playing time for a rookie.
God this kid looks good out there on D. No one is abusing him. He’s just 19 and Ham is putting him on stars. Dame certainly did not light him up. He is the equivalent of a mid first rounder seems to me. @KareemtheGreat33 keeps noticing his facial similarity to Kobe. Not only that but he already has a tremendous start on Kob’s similar shaped long biceps. If Rob f***s up with him or Reaves he should be lined up against the wall by the scouts and executed by firing squad.
Hey Slick …. living in TX you’ve said in the past you followed or were aware of AC in college at Texas A&M. He’s listed now at 28 yrs as 6’5” 186 mature as a pro. Max will be 20 next month on the 10th and is listed 6’6” and current weight after his workout regimen is up to 205. So Alex was 23 or close to it in his rookie year. Care to compare them defensively with what could be Max’s future? Seems here it could reach or surpass the Eagle at some point on ball at least? Or any other Eagle stans?
to my eye, eagle's got quicker feet--though some of that is from his great technique, which max can learn. max looks rangier and more likely to contest taller guys' shots. eagle's a high bar, but max can play on both ends. i could see him ending up being similarly impactful just in different ways, which would be great.
