Signs yes, certainly, and I hoped he could develop into a really good defender. I didn't see what he has done in the last 2 games though, especially at this age already. He won't be able to stand his ground against the likes of Jalen Brunson and other small Hulks, but he seems to have become be a VERY good defender against the speedy guards, which had given us HUGE problems for a very long time. Basically since the Bald Eagle left.
Hey LT. I'm alive and well. We have had a lot of snow. Was locked out for along time for something, I don't know. Finally took the time to get back in. It is good to see a coach has finally figured out how to use Max. Amazing young talent that changes the dynamic of our starters. Good job JJ.
I guess understanding and accepting what's your role could be in the future is part of his recent success . His best asset is to be a defensive specialist not a scorer or secondary playmaker as he tried to be some times before

his three point percentage has risen each month, and he's at 36% in december. if he just stayed there, it would be fine. if he could get back to that 40% he put up his rookie year... he's 38% on corner threes for the year.
Glad to see Christie's defense is improved. IF we ever get Vanderbilt back then that side of the ledger is even more better.

Keep it up! Him being able to compete like this out there and hit from the corners really unlocks the starting group.
Most of us here were shouting at Hambone to give him a chance and we were right! He just needed time on the court to develop.
the fts were nice. i was nervous but hopeful. thought cam did a better job on curry (just to my eye), but actually max is starting to able to do more without fouling, something cam can't seem to do.
He's rewarding Rob with great play and looking like most if not all of us were right on him to begin with on this forum. I was critical of him at the beginning of the season, but he's sure as turned it around, and I'm happy for him. If Max continues to perform and grow at this level, Rob deserves credit for this signing. Rob gets sh***** on a lot on here, and I'm the first one to do it, but he may have scored a big time W here.
Cam looked great out there on him. Nice screen navigation too. Speaking of fouling, it made me think of something I saw tweeted out the other day regarding Reddish. On any given play, you have Cam for 3 seconds. Then it gets dicey. Whether it's a steal turned turnover, bobbled pass, ball rolls off his foot, foul (like the one last night, perfect stop on the drive and then at the very last second fouled up top during the strip) , blown layup. You get 3 seconds and then who knows what's going to happen. It's anyone's guess.
