Been saying this. D-Lo hurt Vando more than anything in the WCF. His inability to hit shots left us with only 1 perimeter scorer in AR. It had a trickle down effect on the entire team because now our best perimeter defender couldn’t guard Murray.
that move where he goes between the legs at high speed and finishes with the left is super nice. i never worried about his shot, and i was right not to, it appears. the ball just looks really good coming out of his hands, great arc, almost always on target.
he was a man among boys in the bits that i saw, as he should be as a second-year guy. but lots of 2nd years weren't. looked like he didn't belong in summer league, and i expect he'll get regular burn as a backup sg this year.
Hoping Ham doesn't take as long to see his value as he did Austin. We got some great young talent to go along with our old fogeys.
Yep! Max is ready for minutes this season. Loved what I saw from him in the summer league. Also not much competition at backup SG with no more Beas or Walker who were in front of him.

Not like Doug was bad though …. for an entitled Pepperdine kid …… married to a real piece of work wife who makes him remarry her every freaking year.
