Honestly just happy to have a guy who didn't forget how to shoot when he got here. Been a while since I expected 3 point shots from any of our guys to go in.
How did we get these guys? Still amazing to me. Imagine if we win it all and us sufferring through Brick was instrumental to being able to get these guys, eventually?
All I know is that we got 3 starters for Russ, and Rui and Mo, for Nunn and Bev. One man's trash could be another one's treasure. Rob did hella work IMO, unless everyone still believes that it's Lebron, actually calling all the shots behind the scenes.
It would be great, if Russ came out in his first game, and threw a high lob for Kawhi, that caused him to throw his back out or something though. Karma is a mug
Beasley seems like he can be very streaky, but at least having guys on the floor like Beas & DLO, where Teams have to respect their shooting, really opens up the floor for the rest of our Offense. Amazing what having guys that can actually shoot do for a basketball team...
Man you already know how it goes. If it works out great, Lebron is going to claim that he had eyes on all these guys for awhile, and he put that bug in Rob's ear. If it doesn't, he didn't have anything to do with the personnel decisions.
His shot was O-F-F tonight but I did appreciate his passing reads on defense. Came up two steals (and an additional deflection) from playing the passing lanes.
He was off but he had like a good 2 or 3 that were more than half way down and just somehow came out. He will be fine, keep on shooting.
He was way off, as was everyone from distance. But even then, you can't leave him open as he did drain one when they did.
i like that he kept shooting, and as others have said, him just being a threat all the time is huge. his misses are so much different than russ's or bev's misses because somebody has to be out there. opens up possibilities for offensive rebounding and reduces the chance that the team will get an easy break opportunity off the shot, too.
