I'd put $ on winning that game, I don't really care about Malik's stats, or anyone else's for that matter, as long as we win.
you don't really need any of those guys. Just shorten the rotation to 8 or 9 players. Keep two of DLO/Reaves/Lebron/AD on the floor at all times. I will say, however, Ham hasn't been doing Beasley any favors. Dennis is probably the worst PG to pair him with. His minutes should be exclusively with Lebron.
Hmmm. Torn here. I lean toward Bease or Troy starting and AR to B Mob because the bench really sucks right now and it will help AD (though so does AR playmaking). If not starting either, then there is too much on Dennis to help them and he is not good at it. Two of AR, Bron, D Lo on the court at all times is most ideal. We will see Dennis, Bease, Troy, and Rui really struggle to defend and score and thus allow big runs by the other team. Can’t have that.
And…if any of our members are trolling/attacking players on Twitter - esp in threads related to a player’s family - they should be banned from our forums. Yes, we - CL and LB folks - are better than that.
Ended up with 3/5 and played 10 minutes. Can't argue with the result, but damn... get the man some open looks.
Malik did his role. Come in and hit some shots. Second half we needed intense defense which left him out but he earned minutes going forward.
Not one … not two … not three …. Ham, “Stop … yes three … and yer done.” That said, the tightened rotation in the second half kicked some MN a**!
While he didn't go 7 for 10 from deep, he did hit 3 out of 4 which is an even higher percentage. Not bad at all. The fact that he DID go 7 for 11 for us, which hasn't been done since Kobe 20 years ago, and Glen Rice nearly 25 years ago, tells you something about Beasley's potential as a shooter. We haven't had one this good since then. Give the guy some minutes with Lebron AD and Dlo. We really haven't given him that opportunity yet because of all of the injuries we've had since he arrived here.
