Headline: Lakers fired a Black without cause! Reaction!? /rant related to other topic of Magic not interviewing minorities before hiring Pelinka
Vitti is a good dude. I saw Kobe treat him like crap sometimes. Vitti was just one of those guys who was accomadating.
Very interesting responses from Russell. Seemed peeved or shook as if magics message to him was " pull your head out of your entitled a** or I'll trade you for someone with heart."
I'd be disappointed if his message was anything less. Aaaand then Russ went back and worked on his next hairstyle.
^...still dealing with the shock of the upheavals. They don't sound enthused...like the substitute teacher is gone.
Some reason why Randle can't concentrate in interviews? The guy is fidgeting no stop, stevie wondering all over the place. Dude. Relax and focus. Russell might be too honest for people. I know that rubs normal people the wrong way.
Most of the kids look concerned/uncomfortable .... it sounds like the end of collecting their checks while being alright with losing may end sooner than they thought Still lmao at DAR big mouth " it may be good , it may be bad" , he doesn't give a single f***
This is kinda messed up, but I hope these kids feel the reality of the situation. The guys that drafted them lost their jobs because the kids aren't good enough. Step up and start playing better or GTFO. I don't care how young they are. Their potential is obvious. Start utilizing it and be great.
I would say they definitely seem uncomfortable. I'm sure it's tough dealing with this drama. From what people have said about the organization there's been a culture of Mitch/Jim vs. Jeanie and now Mitch/Jim are just gone. That's got to feel weird when those two are in a large part responsible for them being here. And I'm sure, given Jeanie's pettiness, that Jim and Mitch could have also been petty by spreading distrust against Jeanie. Still, by the sounds of it Magic definitely put them on notice: ship up or you're getting shipped out. The kids will be given more opportunities to succeed, but if they don't then everyone is on the block. Russell particularly seemed focused on that aspect.
I don't think these kids have "it" and if you don't have "it", you aren't going to develop "it". For the right players...ship their *** out. Otherwise we will never have a winning culture. Russell spends more time making clips on Instagram than re-watching tape of his games. Randle is lazy and is all talk as well. Clarkson always says the right thing and does the wrong thing.
The deal for Lou was done right? Maybe I read that wrong, but I took it at Magic getting down to serious business. Taking the bull by the horns. Definitely a different vibe/energy going on
