Better be recruiting. Tell him to pull an Eli but all the way down to the Pelicans pick that we're getting.

OK I’m happy if these two have made peace and Magic has buried the hatch …. errrr ….. the knife in his back. But wow full circle huh? From the knife in the back to gushing about Rob now for executive of the year …. and We We We We!! Seems a Wee bit of gravy training going on. “(All those years Rob didn’t get his just due)”. LOL yeah you sure didn’t help with making things any easier did you?

    :Magicwow4:

PS … call Vash up and get him off the guy’s back already! ;)

Yeah, nice to see Magic back in cheerleader mode. He shouldn't be let anywhere near an executive position, but he's great in the cheerleader role.

Honestly, I'm also glad that is over and think Magic making this public is a good thing. Magic never really left so much better to have everyone getting along than disfunction.

Even in those highlight Magic just unreal passer: it's really sad how he's become overshadowed in the greatest player arguments.
Just no PG like him before or after - a one of one type.

He was without a doubt better than Jordan in the latter’s first 7 years…

magic was favorite growing up, and even i have sort of forgotten his brilliance to some degree. there hasn't been one like him since.

doncic is a sort of bird/magic hybrid, and that's about as close as i've seen. doncic can't play the run and gun like magic--or at least not as well.

there's also just the flair/artistry. i think that's a big part of jordan's legacy. he and magic were just beautiful to watch at their peak. balletic.

Post HIV celebrity Magic has totally overshadowed the basketball player. His electric personality has paradoxically taken away from his on-court legacy. I've heard anyone from big players like Bill Simmons to random Laker podcasters state that Magic just is a star in any room he is in - all eyes on him kind of guy.

You forget when he was like 50 lbs lighter that this guy used to posterize people. He's a lot closer to Lebron than people realize in terms of size/athleticism/passing and relative weaknesses (both 3 pt shot got significantly better with time). Sure Lebron was more athletic and just whole different class of defender and Magic had a better post game/passing but Magic had a very similar impact to Lebron on the game

Magic was the reason why I fell in love with the game.
    Best PG of all time.
Without Magic and Bird taking their rivalry to the NBA, there would be no NBA today. They literally saved the League.
