LT, I was only expressing my opinion towards those members that addressed my post. Of course I'm going to say the same thing if that's what I strongly believe.

I understand that the Lakers have a capologist too that came from the SA farm house, but ask yourself if SA is known for trades and/or prime free agent signings. Cap-wise, I wouldn't say necessarily that SA is a great example for being cap savvy. For example, they "threw in" Green last year with Kawhi for the salaries to match. That could've formatted the trade differently if they really wanted to hold onto Green.

Also ask yourself one simple thing: do you honestly believe Magic was CBA savvy? So that means our cap/contract related deals were largely influenced by our in house capologist...in which case, yikes!

As for not giving an "inch"...haha, have I been critical of Magic before? So if I was steadfast in my fan boyership, would I say such things as Magic quitting served as a blessing to get more qualified execs in key roles for our franchise?

If anybody is seeing the same thing over and over again it's you, my guy haha. I get you feel wronged by Magic and I agree, I don't f*** with how he quit, but the silver lining is he did give us a 3 month window to conduct a viable replacement and we didn't even sincerely conduct a search. That's a problem to me.

I'm excited that we will compare this year, but in all honesty I felt we could have been competitive last year as well without all the injuries. So what's the main reason for my excitement: what we did via trade or our cap space? And I've made that obvious, so I'm driven by star power. You may lean another way, but to each their own.

So then you start looking at lost opportunities and the amount of them start to add up...so if we're realistically to make a play to add more star power to AD/Bron moving forward, we really limited ourselves of the necessary assets. And that is and remains my main point of contention. It was a wasted opportunity in what we did with our cap space in terms of still star searching as a contingency to getting one via free agency.

    Thanks @lakerjones

Boogie and Kuz ... problem solved internally. We'll find a way hopefully to entice Cousins to take the $17M for Mid Level with his early Bird .... and it's not an outrageous stretch for him to get back to star level, same with Kuz. I like what my eyes see with "TNT"and with Kostas. Phil Handy do your thing.

Yeah yeah yeah, everything could have been better. Whatever man, it is what it is. Right now, we have two the best front court players in the game with some solid 3 & D guys to support them. We are going to be much better than we have been. Have we solved all the problems in the world. Nope, but you never do.

Plus, you don't really know how their deals played out inside. They may not have had as many choices as you think they should have. Sometimes reality forces your hand, deals are not made in textbooks. They are made on the mean streets. People have to want to do business with you.

If the roster was too stacked, it wouldn’t be much fun.

I gotta disagree with my mans.

I like Bron at the point forward, but only in spurts during the regular season of our offense stagnates.

Dude needs more playmakers around him to decrease that usage load so that he can really go to work in the postseason.

f*** playing all 82 games and trying to bring Showtime back. Instead play at the very least 16 games from May to June and bring the chip back to LA!

F*** CP2 and what we would have to give up being one of the playmakers it seems you have in mind. Go Bald Eagle.

Along the lines of LeBron needs other ball handlers and creators ... I can't wait to see improved skills in handling and shooting and D from all these next guys with Handy and Kidd and Vogel and Penberthy and Lethal Shooter and Mamba Sports Inc all assisting in their best new versions:

AD, Avery Bradley, Kyle Kuzma, Alex Caruso and Quinn Cook. Think about the best versions of them ALL yet to come (allowing for AB's last 2 seasons compromised from injuries and still in prime of career at 28).
