Lawyer with ties to Jeannie. Followed by most of the popular Laker guys online. Used to be a contributor with FoxSports. Info from him is usually legit but with this story who knows.

Whoaaaa WTF?!? I go away for a few hours to play some ball at the park and come back to this? That’s nuts. I guess Luke is sticking around then? I really thought Rob was the one that needed to GTFO, this is shocking. Maybe he got tired of LeBron.

Edit: reading through the thread, all that smoke stuff was actual fire, holy s***. Magic never around, not fully committed, not qualified, doesn’t work with Rob, didn’t like Luke, left him to be a lame duck coach for like 74 games after chewing him out after game 8, what a friggin joke. Magic the player is a Laker legend, that will never change, but dude came in and is leaving us in our most desperate hour, terrible look, just quit on us. Please Jeanie, do a good search, hire some QUALIFIED and top of this business people, this franchise deserves it. Don’t look to Kobe, don’t look to the Rambis’, don’t look to Phil, look to qualified people hungry for the Kobe. This is a huge job for someone, if they fix us they’re a hero, please stop looking to former Lakers and hire someone good at the job.

Man this guy’s tweets are wild. If any of this is true that’s nuts

    Jeanie should do this though

Man the more I stew on this the angrier I get. Cost us Russ, Randle, shipped out Zu for garbage, left Luke a lame duck coach all year instead of firing him early on if he’s not who we wanted, stupid signings of Rondo, Lance, and Beasley.

I'm starting to question my allegiance to this team. Been a fan for 35 years. I am close to closing this chapter of my life.

Shaq just said on TNT that Logo is a free agent and that the Lakers should move quickly to bring him in. I would too for stability and to get him away from the Tenants.

He get Ryan ready to take over after he gets the Lakers in a good position to compete for championships.

Yes, this. If Ryan West is qualified maybe promote him. If not, look hard elsewhere for someone good, but STILL bring in Jerry West in his special consultant role. I don’t care if he’s 80, even if he’s here 1 or 2 years and helps us it’s worth it.

Well, if Lakers are sad about losing Randle and Russell, they are free agents. They can go get them back.

Key is now is to pull your pants up and handle the situation and make sure you are prepped for July 1.

It’s a little different though because Randle could have been had for 12 mil per, and Russell might get max money now where if he were with us and our own rookie free agent the money situation and how he fits into the cap I believe isn’t quite the same. Like you can-sign free agents and then RE-sign your own guys, go over the cap and just pay luxury tax.

Lakers would eventually have to pay Randle this summer anyway, as well as Russell.

The main thing is, can the Lakers stop running the same BS program that hasn't worked for years.

Let's set aside Russell was a Laker before. Lakers need an all star who can play off Lonzo and can shoot. Wouldn't Russell be ideal? I'm just saying, Lakers need to focus on developing the team and stop with the free agent homerun.

Food for thought. Before he became the head coach of the Spurs, Popovich was the Spurs GM and VP of Basketball Operations.

He's 70 years old. He may retire, but he may opt for a FO job to avoid traveling for 82 games.

I've heard West on the radio and he seems to really like Ballmer. If true he let it be known to Jeanie he wanted back in and she chose Magic and Pelinka instead I just don't see him coming back now. Huge flip flop required and doubt he'd do that to Ballmer.

Really? Through 35 years and a front office shake up is all it takes even though we went through the Kobe and Shaq stuff, Kobe rape, Kobe wanting out, Dwight and Nash, not getting Aldridge and PG.. See ya man. Purple and gold for life. No questions asked.
