I agree with you. I was just trying to give an example of why I don't think anyone is untradeable, including Ingram. If we were to go after Butler AND George, Russell would be the better one to keep as opposed to Ingram. But I'm not fond of the idea of trading our kids for a couple guys who are in the same age "window" as the Warriors. Even if we sign Griffin; PG-13/Butler/Griffin <<< Steph/Green/Klay/Durant. I'd rather not go into a season with our only hope being perfect health for us and massive injuries for other teams. Like I said, best case scenario is to draft Ball and allow one more year of seasoning/auditioning for our young pups. Then hope at least 2 of them show stardom and get George to sign with us as a free agent to sort of be the guy who takes us to the next level and get them playoff experience.

Just a suggestion: I would change the title of the thread.

It isnt just Tim resigning now; but others sre involved.

The great Lakers exodus of personnel nobody ever heard of. Our trainer can't have been that great if our players are out of shape and get run off the court in half our games, and our analytics guy can't be that great if we're like last in the league in that area.

It's a regime change. Keeping things the same might keep the same culture that got us 4 years of bottom-feeding. I'm with it let's clean house and start fresh.

    Dunno who this guy was...

but it is good that the Lakers are leaving no stone unturned.

When you suck balls for 3-4 years, the problem goes beyond your players talent.

This is the same analytics guy that likely suggested Deng and Mozgov. Anyone who had even the slightest part in their signings needs to go fishing Fredo Corleone style. I'll give Luke a pass since he was way too green to know what he was doing when they were signed, but a horse head in his bed is still probably a reasonable reminder.

Magic seems to be very serious about his new job. Which is a good thing: obviously we were doing poorly for so many years, it's time for some new blood.

Good details in here about Magic & Rob wanting to keep the college scouting team together because they have done a great job, but create more departments for International scouting. Props were also given to our one international scout - Antonio Maceiras that Mitch credited for finding Zubac.

I wasn't expecting much, but that article gave some nice insight to the restructuring going on.

Glad they are happy with our college scouting department and the scout that found Shoebox for us. Those were about the only departments that seemed to get it right over the last few years.
