    Whether that trade makes us better or not in the present, I would have been willing to trade our entire team for Luka freaking Doncic 10/10 times if the opportunity presented itself.

    Holy crap.

    AD is an all time great, he’s been the best center since shaq for the Lakers. Max was showing he can be a solid 15 year nba vet….


    … but the Lakers are getting Luka Friggin’ Doncic. He’s the exact face of the franchise type star the Lakers need post LeBron and we just got him.

    I’m in shock honestly. I like Luka, but everyone here knows my concerns with him, defense, conditioning, beer. We will need to put defense around him, like he and Reaves can’t be the backcourt. But like as far as appointment viewing, being relevant, we are back in that regard and have our star post-LeBron. abeer you called it haha, wow, seems like the Mavs knew he was headed here eventually on his own.

    I know nothing but I don’t think we are done. We are going to end up with a center (questionable as to who).

    If we end up getting Walker Kessler too, mad props to Rob. This was a checkmate move.

    Just think of how fun the rest of this season will be regardless of what happens. Lebron and Luka will be playing off each other for our team. Let that sink in.

    Yeah it had to be done. Teams tank for years just for a chance to draft a generational talent like Doncic. Getting him while still being semi-competitive is a friggin miracle.

    Rob just got the face of the organization for the next decade.

    I have to process the rest, but getting one of the 4 best players in the NBA who can carry us after Bron... that's insane.
