Cmon Lou you got that money and that's who you were with... I hope he was just letting them give him gifts for the night.
Of all our players I hear Lou's name mentioned the most in trade talk. Makes sense based on his salary, and for teams that need that extra guy for a playoff push or to get better in the playoffs. If we make a deal I hope we can get something solid back, because Lou is not someone we need to just dump due to salary.
Was just about to come post this. http://www.lakersnation.com/lakers-...liams-ahead-of-nba-trade-deadline/2017/02/14/ It doesn't just say he's been shopped, but that it's LIKELY he's moved before the deadline. I find that very interesting. With news of Love going down, the East teams might be more willing to part with a 1st than before. I'd be calling Toronto, Indiana, Milwaukee, Detroit, Atlanta, and even Boston to see if there's anyone willing to part with a 1st for some scoring punch. I like Lou, but I like our kids more. Clarkson deserves a shot to be our 6th man instead of relying on Williams.
I know it kind of needs to be done, but I like Lou. Early in the season he was playing much more of the facilitator roll, and he was pretty good at it. Now that he's just reverted back into a scorer, I know we'd probably be better off without him. I really want to see what Clarkson can do as the primary 6th man like real said.
