Well I was only reaching a bit to think of who we let go of that he could've helped make successful. He was the first one that came to mind Pretty sure the Hawks picked him up too.
Kelly would have been a better option than Yi though that it isn't saying much. Robinson whom Walton really likes isn't even seeing time.
Lou is playing great ball right now. I scratched my head when luke had him starting preseason but coming off the bench suits him perfectly. I think we finally have line ups that make sense and suit the players skill appropriately. We haven't had that in years.
Daaaaamn was I wrong about wanting him gone so the youth would have more of a chance to shine. I forgot we have Luke now and not the worst coach ever and he knows how to use this guy without sacrificing playing time for our young core. He's lighting it up, and his veteran presence is evidently something we absolutely needed.
He makes something happen every time he attacks ... Our offense would suffer a lot without him . He has been hustlin on D too ...
I too hated him in the starting lineup during pre-season, but I'm loving him used correctly off the bench. Former 6th man of the year for a reason! Tearing it up.
We have so many players it is just fun to watch play on this team and he is certainly right up there in stiff competition.
Williams never ceases to amaze me when he takes a hit or a hack, gets the shot off and...string music. That one after Barnes fouled him was key. Williams doesn't even act the crazies after a play. Smooth Criminal on the floor...
He isn't as quick and his drives to the basket aren't as daring, but what he's doing now is much of what the 76ers/Toronto Lou Will used to do. Pretty amazing how well his game has aged, I'm beyond excited that we get this version of him on our squad.
With his salary and his play...Lou has been absolutely amazing for us. Without him we would probably be 2-7 instead of 5-4.
