Williams has this knack of switching hands while in the air to put up a shot. He has a way of drawing fouls too. He and Clarkson make a nice combo off the pine.

I'd totally run with Lou and JC as the guards off the bench with Ingram also helping facilitate. That's an insane 3 headed monster off the bench.

I still like Calderon better than Lou at the PG with the second unit. But depth in the backcourt is a good problem to have!

That line-up kept the Rockets from running away with it. Jackson picked up on it last night stating that Houston put Harden on Ingram to hide him on defense as the latter was more of the facilitator role. Could have backfired as Ingram is capable of taking him off the dribble or pull up on his grill.

Great problem to have and I'm glad we have Luke to figure it out.

Calderon had a really nice suit on the pine. I was wondering why I kept seeing Huertas and that ugly a** outside shot of his.

Huertas makes amazing passes and has the flair to provide a show.

But his shot is ugly as hell and his defense is the worst I have ever seen. I have seriously never ever seen someone, who is a worse defender. Maybe Chucky Atkins...but even Atkins was better than Huertas IMO.

Ingram as the point guard is a well thought out of the box scheme from Luke, it takes away the burden from Lou and JC, keeping them focus on attacking. This Walton kid has a future in coaching.

Well, actually that's tough. Atkins started - so he played against superior competition compared to Huertas. In Atkins's best season - 01/02 or 04/05 - he was a pretty average NBA player. Huertas is best suited to being a backup.

I was going by some stats you had indicating he plays not bad team defense. But yes... against 2nd and 3rd stringers.

Yeah; that's the thing about those stats - it shows (among other things) whether a player is playing the correct position. Huertas is used correctly, but I don't think he's better than Atkins. Atkins was probably best as a sixth man rather than a starter, but Huertas is clearly a bench player.

If people constantly rip on light-skinned players, it's going to discourage future generations from wanting to play in the NBA.

    I don't think that's right.

He's playing within the system and being less of a black hole, no complaints from me as long as he keeps it up.

Less of a black hole? Have seen no black hole this year, just a fun baller to watch find ways to score and draw fouls that don't piss you off like flops.

He played well tonight. He's a release valve when our teams take away our initial set because he can create his shot. He's a 'shot maker'. LOL. Also, beautiful read and dime to Larry on that dunk. Beautiful.

Mostly talking about preseason when they were figuring things out but yeah I get you. His ability to just catch fire for 5 mins will win us some games.
