Real, I've always been a Raiders fan because of the early 80's LA football teams, and the way you just summed the Rams team up makes me wanna jump ship right now. Gruden isn't getting any positive reviews from anyone right now and the team is moving to Vegas soon just makes me wanna puke. I'm rooting for the Raiders until they move out of California and for the Rams starting right now.

Hell yeah! Honestly I can't blame any Raider fan from jumping ship. The Raiders are a barely cohesive mess right now. I have no idea how anyone can justify trading Mack. Amari isnt what he needs to be. Carr looks like a good-not-great QB with few options. Chuckie is grating already. I think they're headed for a rebuild and want to be relevant again by the time they move, but meanwhile there's an exciting LA team worth watching (and the Chargers aren't a terrible B option either).

    Welcome to the Ramily!

Thanks, Real! This feels so right, especially rooting for an LA Team.

Edit: Speaking of LA Teams, I sort of associate the Chargers with the Clippers because of the SD to LA connection, which is another puke-worthy thought for me.

It was a hell of a gut call. That's exactly the play that can earn major heat from fans if it fails.

That said, it was the right call. This team has some major mojo. They've now won games where they've lost key defensive pieces and key offensive pieces. They'll find ways to win.

That said, the defense was routinely beat by the same play. There's something they weren't getting yesterday about the deep right side of the field.

I'm really glad to be rooting for the Rams now. If this were the other team, they would've melted down in the 2nd half. I've only seen highlights so far and it's so damn fun to watch Gurley and Kupp.

    What a game, right?

Goff really catapulted himself into the top tier of qbs. No doubt about it. He lost two of his top recieving options and still was able to put himself in position to win (even with the god awful ball spot that lead to 4th down).

    Gurley is preposterous right now.

Hopefully we can heal up though. We'll need everyone for a road game in Denver.

Oh and how was the hit on Cooks NOT a penalty?

Was this the obvious pass interference one?

Edit: I'm mistaken and was thinking about the pass by Goff to Woods. Found this video: (Ouch!)

    No Kupp, no problem.

Goff, Gurley II, and Cook business as usual with that high-octane offense.

That Watson punt return got me excited a bit.

    Lets go Rams!

The only bright spot among the teams I'm rooting for the past few days.

That was a close one though, sheesh...

Edit: Just realized we beat Aaron f'n Rodgers. Booyah!

Incredible game from Gurley and that kneal down at the end iced the game brilliantly.

This team has the grit. They clearly had a flawed gameplan in the first half but adjusted well. McVay does a terrific job of adjusting when he's been outschemed.

He was a top draft pick a few years back. PFF grades him as middle of the pack in his career, but having a solid season thus far.

He'd fallen mostly to the 2nd/3rd string on a really good defense.

The interesting part of this trade is everyone is saying it's a really high cost and it is BUT we're going to end up using a comp 3rd pick for it that we're getting for losing Sammy Watkins. We might still get another comp 3rd round pick for losing Trumaine Johnson as well. It's actually pretty genius.

The Rams are doing what any team SHOULD do: put yourself in a position to succeed. And when the opportunities come to be great, take them! Learn a lesson here Dodgers!

    They played poorly, especially defensively.

But the refs were also absolutely terrible.

One blown coverage from having a chance... Saw Peters with his defensive backfield mates discussing what happened. Fowler had a couple of good pressures.

The blown 1st down call on the 4th down conversion in the 1st quarter was a huge problem. The missed kick by Greg the Leg. There were a few too many plays where Saints were allowed to be physical down the field, but again I won't even blame all of that on the refs.

The Rams allowed easy runs by Kamara and then were getting beaten repeatedly by the Saints passing game. Early on Brees simply out played the defense, but eventually they found the holes in the scheme and were able to get the chunk plays down the field that kill a defense. Add in the lack of pressure from the vaunted defensive line and you get a loss.

It's both encouraging it was close and discouraging they let the game slip away at the end. I also absolutely hated McVay's play calling on their last offensive possession. A missed throw on 1st down, then a non-creative and non-competitive run attempt on 2nd and 10. Now it's 3rd and 10 in your own field. Just uncharacteristically bad.

What a game yesterday, ended up with a basketball score.

Ebukam, Donald was just amazing. Marcus Peters finally showed up this game. It was nice to see Goff make that signature 4th quarter drive to score that 40 yard TD to Everett.
