they are built for playoff basketball more than utah, denver, or the bucks. i'd say they're as big a threat as philly, but not as big a threat as the nets. the suns i need to wait and see if chris paul is upright for the playoffs.
clippers scare me far more than the jazz, nuggets, suns, or bucks. philly and the nets are the other teams i'd group together with the clips
Clippers scare me like a dead rabbit i shot scares me. Come on. Jazz? Haha. They will fold like a WWE chair once they get to the playoffs. Nets are the only ones to worry about now. They have 3 all time greats in their prime. Lakers will need just a little reinforcement with a healthy AD to get that situated.
The key to my comments were: "scare me MORE" than the Clippers, not scare me a lot. I agree that the Nets are our greatest threat and I think we take them in 5-6 games
ESPN needs to research if players get more, less or the same amount of calls after getting fined for criticizing a ref. Now that’s a stat I’d really be really interested in, instead of some of the useless junk they come up with.

I feel like this is the place for my Rondo to Clippers rant. I'm not going to downplay Rondo bc he absolutely balled in the playoffs in our title run. But last season, folks (some our own fans) were killing us for not finding a "Rondo replacement", like Collison and Reggie Jackson. Now were going to congratulate the Clippers for giving up Lou Williams & 2 picks for a Reggie Jackson replacement? Rondo will be beneficial for them in the playoffs. But when it comes to the rivalry, we made this move 2 season ago, won our chip and now the Clippers are just getting hip to it. This is just another in a long list of reasons why is barely a rivalry. Chess vs checkers, you know what I'm getting at.
Clippers have no originality. They signed Barnes, Wes Johnson, Farmar, they got Lou Williams, they went after Kawhi and PG, now Rondo and Cousins. They want to be us so bad, but they never will be.

i still think this year's clippers are a lot better (and deeper) than last year's. yeah, they lost to the magic last night but they were without PG, morris, beverley, and ibaka at full strength, they're the team i worry about the most. don't care about what happened in the past because anything can happen in the playoffs
