    If that's true, @ P&G 1 .....

    :KobeConfused:

with why you would say that. Not my last impressions of LBJ prior to this year being torched or clamped down on by anybody when healthy. Sure Kawhi gives a real rough time of it at the very least to everyone including James.

Wow, that’s truly sad. I never wanted to see the day Jerry went senile.

The numbers alone that @Josecapone posted don't support your statements that Leonard torches LeBron and locks him up. All the time. They probably both win some and lose some against each other and LeBron has the higher averages. That said, obviously Leonard is tough on everyone. All I was getting at.

OK I can see where you're coming from. "Torched" just seems over the top IMO.

Alright I'm waiting on emails at work so I had a chance to actually look into it.

Kawhi and LeBron have matched up 22 times since Kawhi has come into the league, including the playoffs. They've matched up 10 times during the regular season.

    In 2012, their first match-up:
    LeBron- 33/5/10 on 58/67/56 (win)
    Kawhi- 12/6/1/1 on 42/40/0

LeBron averaged 27/8/6/2/1 on 53/36/77 that season. Verdict: not torched.

    In 2013:
    LeBron: 23/9/7/4 on 58/20/75 (win)
    Kawhi: 17/11/1/2 on 62/33/-

LeBron averaged 27/8/7/2/1 on 57/41/75 that season. verdict: not torched.

    In 2014:
    LeBron: 19/8/7/2 on 34/0/78
    Kawhi: 11/5/0/5 on 31/25/100 (win)

LeBron averaged 27/7/6/1.5 on 57/38/75 that season. Verdict: not torched.

    In 2015:
    LeBron: 31/5/7/2/1 on 50/50/80 (win)
    Kawhi: 24/9/7/1/1 on 64/33/63

    LeBron: 15/6/9/1/1 on 35/67/100
    Kawhi: 12/10/4/4 on 36/0/67 (win)

LeBron averaged 25/6/7.5/1.5 on 49/35/71. Verdict: not torched.

    In 2016:
    LeBron: 22/7/5 on 53/33/75 (win)
    Kawhi: 20/10/5/1/2 on 43/50/100

    LeBron: 29/5/7/2/2 on 59/0/80
    Kawhi: 24/6/2 on 47/43/89 (win)

LeBron averaged 25/7.4/7/1.5 on 52/31/73. Verdict: not torched.

    In 2017:
    LeBron: 29/6/7/2 on 69/40/71
    Kawhi: 41/6/5/1/1 on 47/43/89 (win)

    LeBron: 17/8/8 on 41/0/50
    Kawhi: 25/6/6/3/1 on 52/0/100 (win)

LeBron averaged 26/8.5/8.7/1.2 on 55/36/67 that season. Verdict: possibly torched?

    In 2019:
    LeBron: 29/4/6/1 on 52/20/57
    Kawhi: 25/8/4/2 on 40/63/67 (win)

LeBron averaged 27/8.5/8.3/1.3 on 51/34/67 that season. Verdict: not torched.

    Playoffs 2013-
    LeBron: 25.3/10.9/7/2.3/0.9 on 45/35/80 (4 wins)
    Kawhi: 14.6/11.1/0.9/2/0.4 on 51/35/71 (3 wins)

LeBron Playoffs Averaged 26/8.4/6.6/1.8/0.8 on 49/38/78 that season. Verdict: not torched.

    Playoffs 2014:
    LeBron: 28.2/7.8/4/2/0.4 on 57/52/79 (1 win)
    Kawhi: 17.8/6.4/2/1.6/1.2 on 61/58/78 (4 wins)

LeBron averaged 27.4/7.1/4.8/1.8/0.6 on 49/38/78 that Playoffs. Verdict: possibly torched.

In head-to-head match-ups for their careers, LeBron is 9-13 against Kawhi. Kawhi usually affects LeBron's efficiency, but LeBron is still usually capable of getting at or near his averages in that season or during those playoffs. Kawhi's numbers against LeBron are usually typical for him outside of the one 41 point game in 2017. The only way one would think Kawhi "torches" LeBron would be recency bias. The reality is Kawhi plays LeBron very well, but LeBron usually is able to perform at or near his usual self. So the question is: what is "torching" someone? If "torching" someone means doing enough to win the game more often than not, then sure Kawhi "torches" LeBron. If "torching" is what Kobe used to do and running up the points on you while also beating you, then no Kawhi does not often "torch" LeBron and has only done that really once in his career.

Sir I provided the stats as a basis of disputing your claim. There is almost no discernable impact statistically and their wins against each other are very close. Like I said already, "torched" is subjective and could boil down to semantics, but if you have very little proof that Kawhi impacts LeBron in a major way when they play, then your opinion is baseless. I never said anything about a Kawhi bias. I said recency bias meaning Kawhi has beaten LeBron in their last three meetings, but that only means LeBron before that was 9-10 which is extremely close. LeBron also had a much worse team this last go around for what it's worth and Kawhi has routinely missed games against LeBron throughout his career.
