Doesn't mean s***. They will end up the 2nd seed and have homecourt throughout the west. They have this planned already.

i'm not sure they'll take the 2 seed in this fashion, but yeah, they'll get home court for round 1 for sure, and i don't think they care after that. they believe that if everyone's healthy, they'll steamroll. and they might be right. they're pretty damn good when they're all on the floor.

but they might not all be there. there are no rest games in the playoffs. and the title slog can be long.

i like our plan, too: get the 1 seed so that you're not playing a beast in round 1. the 2 seed could be playing carlisle's mavs with doncic (though the powell injury is sneakily huge for them). or utah. or okc with cp3 on a revenge tour. give me a tattered blazers or last-legs popovich spurs over those options.

I agree. If you are used to taking games off and you have to suddenly start playing tough games without getting much rest... bad things can happen.

It will be funny if the guy they don't load manage (Harrell) gets hurt. He's the f***ing key to that team. Everyone else even Kawhi they can make up with (i.e. a healthy PG) somewhat but no Harell and they could easily go out in the 1st round.

lou's really important, too. their offense hinges heavily on his shot making off the dribble. he's 34, right?

No way lou is important as Harrell.

Harrell is their only capable big: he plays excellent positional defense and the combination of his physicality and touch around the basket is only reason that PnR is at elite level. He overpowers wings and is too quick for most bigs. Lou/PG/Kawhii are all great: but they're interchangeable. If one is injured or cold you can flip them into being the ballhandler on the PnR. You lose Harrell and they you're hoping Kawhii survives the pounding he's going to get as the big on defense and as the roll man.

Guys and gal, come on. Kawhi and PG are the guys they are protecting and if healthy, will be a problem. AD and Lebron have to be better then those two when it matters. Simple as that.

yeah, as i said at that time: uh...your franchise guy dictated trades BEFORE HE EVEN JOINED THE TEAM!

he gets paid the maximum possible salary while playing 2/3 of the time. on purpose.

    yeah, somebody runs somebody's franchise.

btw, i wouldn't complain as a clippers fan. kawhi made them a thing. just like lebron pulled the lakers out of the freaking dumpster. if that's having players run the franchise, sign me up. the others can have billy knight and bryan colangelo.

That's called projection. Doc Rivers has always been a little b****. He's pissed off that the Lakers ruined his only shot at a mini-dynasty with s*** in his pants and studio gangster.

Lakers need to use this as fuel. Lakers need to beat them in the WCF. Simple as that. He likely wont shut up, because he will have an excuse when he loses, but it still feels good.

    1. Kawhi by far
    2. Harrell
    3. Lou

This trio doesn't really need PG13 and can win it all without him .

If I were a Floppers fan , I would prefer p**** P to be out for the later stages of the playoffs.

He's going to choke and take opportunities away from Harrell and Lou
