Isoing AD isn't the way to go ... He's not a power player and takes too many KD like shots imo . He's very good but he isn't the smooth scorer KD is .

Getting AD better looks ( more on the move) I agree will be key.

He has to improve on the short roll/with double teams too ... WTF was that shot over 2 defenders down the stretch !

Good eye! He struggles with making the read on that short roll. He also has tends to make more shots difficult than they need to be...

Id like to see him more as the roll man myself; but if they're switching it, those will create "pop" opps.

Nevertheless, we do need to put him in space on the move; that's where he excels...

So when it was the Lakers, very publicly Mintz said how hellbent George was to get there. Then the summer comes and they ghost us. f***ing b****es...

But when it was the cLipsticks, everything was hush hush blush blush, with no one entering the bidding war to up the cLips final offer.

I don’t really think Kawhi played us. It was George and Mintz’s lip service all along.

Btw, get Presti to a bigger market team with deeper pockets. Bennett is seriously f***ing up your resume bruh.

Just bumping this as Giannis proved my point. It’s funny that BSPN (Ballmer Sports Programming Network) is touting the Clippers as the team to beat since they’re undefeated with both Kawhi and PG playing together... that is until last night. Haha! The whole undefeated things reminds me of Doc’s nonsensical statement regarding the C Bags starting 5.

The Bucks are on a mission this year. I don’t see anyone beating them in the East this year.

^ only team that stands a chance, is philly, because they're "long" and have people to throw at Giannis. I thought, that letting go of Brogdon and Middleton's rodiculous contract, would bite them in the a**...
    Still waiting ;)

Philly is a disaster. PG that can't shoot. Embid who can't play every game. A coach who doesn't quite know what he is doing. Not a good recipe in the playoffs.

Sure looks that way... but they were one, lucky bounce away, from the Finals last year ;)

They were ahead of schedule last year but Embid had a great year. More tape and more familiarity on Simmons only makes things worse for him if he doesn't shoot. Embiid body will break down more and more as the years go. His numbers are all down this year.

I hope you're right. I hate Embiid and Philly (tier below C Bags, tennants and rockets).

I actually like Embiid. He brings attitude like 80s players. Wish Adam Silver would get lax on the flagrant stuff. Every time I watch hockey and see fools literally punching themselves and only get penalty minutes, I say, you really cant have guys push and shove and basically play fight without having to suspend the entire organization? Come on. This is pro sports. Let them have all the emotion. NBA fan loves a good scuffle.

So I know a lot of you watched the game last night. Kawhi is not right. He's slower and even his locomotion looks a little off at times. I think he's hurt, and I think its degenerative.

I didn't watch, but I think his demise is questionable.

Despite his efficiency drop, his stats in some ways have improved. His rebounds and assists are up. The %'s are down, and fouls are up. His PER is similar. To pull this off is a good sign if you are a Clipper fan. If he can manage his injury, I have no doubt he'll be a force in the playoffs when needed.

Besides, we want to beat the Clippers at their best without any of Doc's lame excuses.

he's definitely formidable still. he kicked our a**** in the first game of the season. but i agree; he doesn't move well. can he make it all the way through the playoffs? let's get that one seed so we see them later rather than earlier.

The spurs reported it was a chronic and degenerative injury and I remember posting that a few times here while we were looking to trade for him. New reports coming out say it is a degenerative patella tendon, so it looks like the spurs were correct in their assessments after all.
