I'd say so HA! Never seen another team's broadcaster go in on a player to that degree. Loved it, but danm
LOLOLOL …. that was awesome! Definitely: Has Russ been told he has to go to the bench yet so ”James can be James”. More popcorn please!
wasn't it perkins who didn't have luka on his top 5 offensive players list just like a day ago? i didn't get the point of the mavs guy's rant. i mean, we all know this. and is it the place of the local broadcaster to prepare such a speech? everyone knows this is coming. it's just a matter of how russ handles it. i'll actually be mad if he takes it gracefully after how he behaved here. btw, i haven't seen it considered that possibly harden gets moved to the bench (would work even better, i think). either way:
i honestly think he's not built this way, but i bet PG and tyronn lue think about nothing else but that they could be lakers right now.
I tend to agree. For certain with PG. I think Lue wanted his bag and got it but has to think he and Frank would’ve done quite well for us. Even with Kawhi’s personality and lack of emotion I do think a part of him has to feel like he made the wrong call. He’s likely got a couple of extra rings right now with us and set as a Laker legend. Who knows, he might even be considered his team at this point depending on if his injuries played out differently. Instead he’s trying to carry a poorly constructed team. I feel like a mysterious hamstring pull or something that “just won’t heal” is on the horizon for him if the team keeps spiraling.
Jesus who owns all these Clippers pick going forward? They maybe better off firesaling George and Kawhii and trying to go Brooklyn Nets style and make the picks mediocre.
kawhi was only using the lakers as leverage. he had his sights set on the clippers all along and was just waiting for them to trade for another star. if they hadn't been able to do so, he likely would've stayed in toronto. he was never going to join the lakers to play 2nd or even 3rd fiddle behind lebron and AD. that's just not who he is speaking of toronto, he would've been smart to stay there considering they had just won a title and had a solid core that could've very well contended for another title. a healthy raptors team with kawhi probably makes the finals again in 2020
