I feel you. I used to root for them during the Danny Manning Ron Harper era and with Bill Walton doing color commentary they were entertaining. I didn't mind when they had their run during the Baron Davis Corey Maggete era. Then things changed.

The dirt on Sterling came out with his racist slum lord ways. Then Laker haters became Clipper fans all of the sudden. Then basketball reasons happened. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Now I wish them the worst. I don't hate them as much as I hate those guys but I couldn't help smiling seeing them lose even if it was to the Ewins.

Tbh the thing that annoyed me most about not getting that group together was it meant Kobe had to push his body beyond the breaking point to get us to the playoffs. Possibly having shortened Kobe's career significantly is something I will never forgive stern and his cronies for.

That plus dragging Dwight's sorry a** along too due to his always "all about me" efforts and the hole that helped dig early in the season on top of Nash's crater.

I agree 100% with what you're saying, but it doesn't make me hate Stern any less. What he did was blatantly wrong, the lies he told to justify it were paper thin, and the way the media swept it under the rug is a disservice to us and to the fans of the NBA.

More than any other single action, that vetoed trade hurt the Lakers and honestly changed my mind completely about whether or not the NBA rigs their events. Maybe not necessarily the games themselves (although I'd say it's fairly obvious they favor team with the referees) but certainly other events like the draft lottery and oh I don't know the times when the league owns a team.

Oh. Stern sucks. No doubt about it. It's kind of like you date this girl and she starts treating you like garbage for no reason. You break up and end up with someone you like more. That chick first chick is still a b**** but you are happy with things.

    :D

I was thinking it's more like you're with someone, that person is nice to you for years and years and suddenly they stab you in the back publicly and go for your younger sibling. You've got to still live with that person in your life, but it doesn't mean you can't hate both of them. And it certainly means they owe you big time to get your favor back.
