However I think they came out and tried to play bullyball against us. That elbow by Butler on Green was a statement but I think it motivated the Lakers. Nobody is going to punk us, especially when we are bigger and stronger. They got what they deserved in this game.

Oh, he's definitely done. You can't play on that. Feel bad for the guy, this was his chance to get that last contract. I hope they take care of him.

What is lost in this disaster of a game for miami is the first quarter adjustment by Vogel. He sat down Lebron and the rally started. I dont exactly know what the adjustment was but definitely its there. You dont just sit down Lebron with i think 6 or 7 minutes into the ball game.

Im sure he made adjustments but thats Lebron's normal schedule. He goes out at around the 5min mark, comes back in at the end of the 1st, goes out at the 6min mark in the 2nd again. Vogel does that so either Lebron or AD are always on the floor.

    But per wiki...
Full recovery from both complete and partial tears typically takes 12 weeks or more. However, activities may gradually resume after 6-8 weeks when the plantar fascia will be mostly recovered. Surgery is typically a last resort.

Nunn isn't a slouch, 18 in 20 minutes. Was in the ROY conversation during the season and looked closer to that tonight than he has the rest of the post season.

That was when he sits Lebron anyways. It's just a coincidence. Heat were hitting on all their shots, wasn't realistic that it would last, I just thought it would take longer to catch up but the Lakers came back in like 5 min.

Glad we have LeRabbitsfoot James. How many great teams has he beat at their full strength? The DRose bulls and the young Thunder I guess.

I don’t know if it was a strategic adjustment, but it did feel like it sent a message to the team. “Yeah Lebron is great and carried us to the Game 5 win against Denver, but we’re a great all around team and I trust all of you to play well. We’re not going to get rattled and change our normal rotations over a quick 13 point deficit to these Heat”.

I think sometimes we’re naturally prone to leaning on Lebron more when we’re struggling, so taking him out and having players like KCP, Green, Caruso make big plays to cut down the deficit and then expand the lead must be great for the team’s confidence.

This sucks, I wanted to beat Miami at full strength. So many idiots out there already starting asterisk title talk, Scottie Pippen for example. Sorry though, that’s how it goes, teams win titles against teams that get hurt, it’s happened to the Lakers before multiple times to key players. I don’t see anyone saying the Warriors have an asterisk in 2015 because Kyrie and Love were injured, it was just “LeBron loses again”.

Nice to see he finally gets a break in the Finals. He has had some s*** luck in the Finals with injuries and dealing with D-Wade crumbling towards the end of his run in Miami.

All due respect to D-Wade, he is a great player, but AD is the best running mate he has ever had, even Wade in 2011 and 2012.

And Lebron will be passing the best player in the NBA baton to his teammate in a year. AD is a freak and he will be an MVP and DOPY and will end up being the greatest PF in Lakers history.

That is ... not exactly how I thought that tweet would play out. As I started reading it I thought Marks was trying to point out that it’s possible to play through the injury, but then nope. Dragic definitely should not try to play on it. For his own sake.

And to be honest for the sake of the Heat, after a blowout loss, a hungry Kendrick Nunn may actually work out better for them.

    Hate to see the injuries.

How the start to the next game goes can probably decide Miami's fate to be honest. There's no home crowd to pull energy from for games 3-5. Glad we're wearing the Black Mamba jerseys for game 2, they won't lose in those jerseys.

+/- never tells the entire story, but this is just cringe worthy:
    Herro: -35
    Iggy: -25
    Crowder: -21

This Herro kid who was supposed to kill us was an absolute zero. Speaking of zeros, that's how many points Robinson had. Another sniper for the Heat.

With how well he's played in the playoffs and since he's entering free agency this off season, he definitely needs to be very careful.
