the reality is that people just have more important things to worry about right now with all that's happening in the world but damn, if they do win this thing then imagine what that rally will be like once things are able to return to normal. i was at the 09 rally and we packed the coliseum that day. this celebration would be even bigger
honestly, i completely checked out after kobe's death and the pandemic hit. the lakers coming together and playing their best ball in the playoffs has been a nice distraction from what's going on around me otherwise.
Just got done at Sports Clips and Undisputed was on, so I had to listen to Skip the entire time... give me a break... not sure if I hate him more than Bill Simmons or not... hopefully Lebron and AD com edit: haha i started typing this out earlier and did not finish, but you get the idea. i could bench press a buick right now
We’re wearing the Mamba jerseys tonight, and we know if Kobe was here he’d stress the importance of closing the Heat out. Miami is not gonna get quit, but at this point both teams know the Lakers are the superior team it is time to do what all great championship teams do and that’s step on the opposing team’s throats when you have the opportunity to put them away.
