Good point Karacha. He's got the length to at least bother Jimmy Buckets and he has enough energy to still get his. When he's been switched on Jimmy B he's done all right thus far.

Vogel has shown he makes rotation changes after loses in these playoffs. I'd change the starters. Change out DG for either Caruso or Kuzma. We need to start the game out more energized on both ends of the floor.

I started getting bad vibes once I heard “Hey Ya” by OutKast play on a commercial during Game 3. Pretty sure that was the official song of the 2004 Finals, so that triggered me pretty bad.

No more bad vibes. Come out strong and dominate Game 4.

Butler has been the best player on the floor the last 2 games.

MIA did a great job denying AD. There were multiple times they were triple teaming him away from the ball. Not even letting him have a chance to touch the ball. Lakers will make adjustments for Game 4.

Can’t have Morris shooting 11 Threes, even if he’s making ‘em.
That means our Offense isn’t working & we’re getting only the last resort shots.

He deserves more respect. He plays with just the right attitude and can do a ton of things on the floor, on both sides. Lack of respect simply shows weakness.

Butler is good, but he's not going to have the same game he did last night, tomorrow. On the flipside, AD won't have a stat line comparable to Kelly Olynk again tomorrow night either. So there's that. Also what gave me some confidence moving forward was that even with how disgusting we played last night, we actually took the lead a couple of times and up until the last few minutes of the game were within striking distance. And again, this is with Butler playing out of his mind and both AD and Lebron crapping the bed...oh and also Danny Green being Danny Green. The only thing that pisses me off still is that we squandered away great performances by Keef and Kuz.

If Jimmy was on the Lakers I guarantee you he would not play with that kind of attitude all the time. He would get complacent too. No one is immune to it.

I expect us to rally and win Game 4.

I also think it’s easy to forget some of the really bad losses we had during some of our championship runs. The LakersFilmRoom podcast broke down one from when we beat the Pacers that I had completely forgotten about.

it’s the playoffs and there’s a reason sweeps in the finals haven’t happened that often. The Heat didn’t roll over and we gift wrapped them that one.

Quit turning the ball over, crash the boards and attack the rim relentlessly. We should be controlling the paint easily especially with put backs, a lot of unnecessary long/lazy shots.. time to simplify things.

Maybe, but that team definitely had more depth. This year’s Lakers do not have a sixth man like Lamar Odom. I’d also argue the role players were more consistent and as good as our front line is this year the 2009 squad was definitely superior in that regard.

Also just for clarification purposes I was referring to the 2009 playoffs in the second round when the Lakers faced the Rockets, who were without Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady. Yao was injured in Game 3 I believe and was out the remainder of that series. Lakers got blown out in Game 4 and Game 6.

Point is as great as Kobe was in his prime and those championship teams were they still had let downs. Even if you want to go back to the three peat Lakers look at the 2001 Finals the only game we lost that year was against the 76ers, who were clearly an inferior team. The Lakers had a huge let down in Game 1, AI obviously carried them much like Butler did for the Heat last night.

Yeah. We have some versatility there. Lebron can slide back to the 2 with Kuzma coming in for the 3.

    Lebron/Kuz
    KCP/Lebron/Caruso
    Rondo/Caruso

He definitely should have. I expect him to correct that mistake.

What's good everybody..it's GATXBOI I'm new to the forum. Just wants to say what's up first. But my theory when we lost game three is they want to do it for kobe.
20-4 throughout the playoffs to win number 17.
    4-1 each round

Start Kuzma. Much harder to double and triple and front AD with Kuzma out there because he is not just a spot up shooter. His cuts and dribble drives will help.

I hope bam plays. Won’t force the bigs out to the 3 point line like with Kelly and Leonard.

Bam needs to play - he is a better matchup for us than Kelly Olynyk and when Butler drives the lane, either Dwight or AD will be there to meet him because of Bam playing down low.
