yeah, and it's not just us. teams that make it to the end healthy tend to win. think toronto beats gs last year if durant OR thompson play the whole series?

if you complain this year, complain every year.

and no, they could have all their guys and add an allstar and i still think we beat this team.

Agreed. Basically this Miami team fully healthy was good enough to maybe go 6 against the Lakers. But that's a best case scenario I think.

Lakers are rolling. Hopefully they get it done in 4 now. If there was ever a chance for Miami to steal one it's next game - maybe a beat up Bam comes back and has a Willis Reed showing, maybe Jimmy Buckets has a breakout offensive game and goes for 40, maybe Herro goes hero ball and hits a ton of threes. It would probably take all of the above to get one.

But if they go down 3-0 it's going to be a sweep.

If you noticed each round their main players all got busted up. Lilliard towards the end. Harden, Jamal, and Bam. I don't consider Dragic because he was hurt before the finals. But everyone got busted up in every series because they were playing so hard they eventually wilted.

So Adebayo might play tomorrow. Bring it. Howard will take care of him.

Man I love the way Jimmy Butler plays. Is aggressive when gets a mismatch, pretty good at scoring anywhere on the court, rotates the ball hard, willing to set screens, and always tough on defense. Just totally plays into the team concept

Really wished the Lakers had targeted him instead of Kawhii. Butler just doesn't give a s*** about the glory and would have been a great 3rd banana

It was me, just too hyped up and missed the call, maybe the wine had something to do with it?

Sounds like the Lakers did have interest but Butler very quickly decided on Miami. He said he chose them as they were the best fit.

My only stress right now is an injury. If our squad remains healthy, they will take care of business. Especially at this point. Can any team beat Lebron and AD 4 times in 5 games?

Toronto/GS series was still very close in spite of the injuries to KD and Klay - so that is why one could argue that if they had played, they woulda won the series.

This series though? Unless the HEAT beat us 2 straight, you can't make that argument that if they were healthy, they would have won. They were down 30 already before Dragic and Bam got hurt. This is not even a discussion - anyone that tries to make that argument is just a Laker hater / bitter Clippers fan.

for sure, in fact if I hear anyone utter that stupidity, my first question will be: So, are you just a bitter clippers fan or just another Lakers hater?

    anti jinx.

Your correct it would change things. So would Butler or Bam Rubble testing positive. Although the Heat are doing a good enough job of missing games the old fashioned way.

And WTF with VanGundy trying to throw shade on the Lakers Minneapolis titles not being "the same organization" so the titles shouldn't count as LA Laker titles??
Sounds like he doest want us to tie Boston.
iirc, the C's had a franchise switch when the Brave and C's swapped orgs. Don't count some if those and were ahead.

Yeah same I was probably the most stressed against Portland especially after Game 1 it felt like they’d be a legit threat, but of course we showed our dominance after that.

I was pretty confident against Houston because of the size advantage and a little nervous about the Denver series because of how they just came back against the Clippers.

However, against Miami I just knew we were the better team. I was a little frustrated after the bad start, but then it became pretty clear we were just the superior team.
