if our backcourt can't can at least 35% of wide open threes, i'm not sure the opponent matters. this is professional basketball, not jv. make shots.

With our recent play? Does not matter even if it's The Little Sisters of Mercy.

    I think will play Phoenix.
Nobody picked them before bubble and they are about to go 4-0.

But ... but ... our great kids .... and Zion the unstoppable. Give them 2 more years. We may regret AD being here instead yet.

They'll exploit our backcourt's defensive shortcomings and throw a barrage of hard doubles at Davis... :)

We need (3) tough opponents in the playoffs to get us ready to beat the Bucks or Toronto. Might as well take on the best to help us get there as quickly as possible.

Pelicants are done. Same with Sacto. It's going to be very interesting and may come down to the wire with the rest of these teams. I definitely see Portland leapfrogging Memphis. Maybe Spurs too. Suns right there as well.

and honestly, if they can't get past the blazers then they don't deserve to be champs anyways

Feel the same, but can't help looking at Ultra Lillard and thinking "Whitney Houston we have a problem!"

It will feel like we earned it and a true championship if we can bounce the Blazers, Rockets, Clips and Bucks out of the squared circle.

Portland will be exhausted. They are playing basically 6-7 players every game
They should win last game ,and then tournament for 8 place will be played on Saturday and Sunday. And McCollum is injured .
McCollum has been playing with a L3 vertebral transverse process fracture (non-displaced) since last Thursday. In layman’s terms, he has a fracture in his lower back.He has played three games since the injury.
And on Monday Playoffs is begin. So looks like Lakers will play on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Lakers should not be scared of Portland at all

There's a lot of truth to this, but I'd like to avoid teams that are gonna be major calorie burns for us early on. I think we'd beat the Blazers, but it'd be 6 exhausting games, versus a 4-game sweep against Memphis.

Personally, I'd like to see the Suns. I don't think we'd have any difficulty with them, but every game would be exciting and fun.
