On the bright side, the Big Baller Brand logo doesn't need to be changed for Big Bricker Brand.

Not to argue bout ball pick but for those in the know, how would Tatum have fitted next to Ingram, if we had kept dlo? Tatum looks like Granger, if Ingram is Pg like, than i woyld imagine it working well, guess concern wouldve been neither tatum/ingram could handle playing the 2g position?

Tatum and Ingram are both 3/4s (the 4 coming a couple years down the line) and they would have stepped on each other's toes. Ingram is a very good passer, but he ball stopped like crazy yesterday. Not as bad as Blue, but we ran iso plays for Ingram way, way too often yesterday.

Any time Lonzo and Kuzma were on the court together, the ball moved much better. Keep Blue on the bench, he's a much worse Jordan Clarkson. I hated watching Blue play. The kid they had start over Kuzma was garbage as well, keep him on the bench.

Lonzo looked a bit slow to read things and his shot wasn't falling, but other than that I thought he played fine. He needs coaching defensively and he needs to learn how to navigate screens, but he shows good help instincts. I'm eager to see how he rebounds.

Most concerning by a large margin was Zubac. He, along with Ingram and Ball, has been coined as a future cornerstone of our team. Last night was as bad as I've ever seen him play. He was absolutely eaten alive by Brice effing Johnson. He was slow on the glass, lost almost every ball down low, was late to challenge, looked gassed. It looked like he went out and partied earlier that day. Just awful. I expect him to bounce back in a big way tonight.

"The lob to Ingram was a set play that we ran (usually) to start the 2nd & 4th quarters. It was a sweet pass that was right on the money, but that isn't created by his alchemy...it's a set play."

    This.

Anyone know if Dozier is hurt or why he didn't get any run? I've been looking forward to seeing him play. Loved his smooth game at SC.

And he made the pass on the money. We can enjoy a play without having to make it a miracle. Ingram and Clarkson made that play often during the year.

Lonzo fans have said since the beginning that his greatest strength is moving the ball quickly and inspiring ball movement. We started off so well in the 1st quarter and then it all fell apart as guys like Vander freaking Blue stopped moving the ball at all. Ingram did too, but hey at least Ingram is light years ahead of these turkeys so I don't mind it as much.

What I did love from Lonzo was how quickly we were able to move the ball up the floor. That's Golden State style offense and it's something he brings in spades. Unfortunately it didn't really translate to anything because these Summer League guys didn't know what to do with the ball anyway. Wear is bad. Blue is awful. Zubac played as bad as I've ever seen him play, but he should improve. The three best guys had the best series: Zo pass to Ingram with a quick pass to Zu for the layup. It was great. That's what I hope to see more of.

I've been saying all along though that I wished Lonzo played with Russell. Having Russell in the half-court so that Lonzo could be used more as a spacer/back door lob kind of guy would have been perfect. Lonzo is great off the ball and moves the ball so well. I wish we'd gotten to see that. instead Lonzo gives the ball up and then the ball never gets passed again. Awful. Hopefully Kuzma starts tonight because he was maybe the 2nd or 3rd best passer on the team yesterday.

There goes the SL title. I wish we'd seen him play Tatum and Brown.

Fox not on the list invalidates it unless he missed the time cutoff.
