I’ve said it before and that’s that shooting can be improved. You can’t teach height, defensive prowess, court vision, and basketball IQ, all things Lonzo already has at 21. Not to mention the fact that we were a better team when he was on the court running the offense than when Lebron or Rondo were.

Sure he can’t shoot, which is a liability, I won’t lie, and he’ll never be a Curry or Lillard, but the things he does do well he does at an already elite level or a potentially elite level. I also believe he will develop into a respectable scorer sooner rather than later if we give him a chance, but knowing our great front office, they’ll trade him for a win now scenario package and we will still lose for the next three years and then have nothing to show for our 5 top 10 draft picks.

Very insightful point! I completely forgot about that until I saw it on TV.

The folks at AEG are saying that they thought ESPN's coverage of the event was amateurish. What is your guys' opinion? Are they being too snobbish from a media standpoint or was it really that bad?

I definitely saw Zion cringe a few times, though. I'm guessing he wasn't a fan of ESPN or the Pelicans. ;)

I would agree. Rachel Nichols thinks she’s way funnier than she is, and Woj is super awkward, still clearly not used to being on tv.

Personally I think the Lakers should do whats best for the Lakers and not whats best for Lebron. I realized that Lebron plays a major role in the Lakers success, but
if the lakers can find an impact player that can contribute now, its a win, win. He helps the team today but can also be part of the future. You're right though,
a lot really depends if a the Lakers can get a veteran FA like kahwi.

IF we could get Kawahi it would make keeping the pick and the kids a lot more asthetically pleasing to the eyes and the media...especially considering the rumors that Pelicants wont deal AD to us no matter what.
