Lakers Get Sponsor Logo On Unis..$100Mil Deal

It’s been yellow leaning away from gold ever since Nike got the contract no doubt. Just don’t understand why Lakers allowed it, that’s on them. That said ….. this particular photo at that point in time on the stage next to training facility was taken when some additional yellow light source was hitting them. Look at the guy’s forehead side closest to Jeanie.

 

I agree it’s on the Lakers. Nike has the capability to produce any color, including Laker gold, and I highly doubt they dictated to the Lakers what tone of yellow they should use. They probably showed them various prototypes with varying shades of yellow, gold, etc, but the decision in the end was Lakers to make.
