Oh. I'm not saying their front office is better than ours. That's not my point. The point is, the super tank has really only been going on for a couple years. The season before they drafted Noel, they traded for Bynum, remember? It might be hard to recall because he never suited up for them. :D The super tank started only since Hinkie took over. You can really only base their front office on Hinkie. That'd be like grading the Clippers front office based on the Donald and Elgin Baylor. So Hinkie is going super tank mode for two seasons now. If they get a good pg in this draft with their pick, Embiid comes back healthy, and heaven forbid, they get our pick and snag Stanley Johnson, the tank is over. That team may take a couple years to get into the playoffs and learn to play together, but those 4 dudes would certainly win more than 30 games in the East which is enough to get you on the back end of the lottery where it's not really tanking.

I still consider what they're doing a travesty to the league. Even if it's within the rules, there's nothing good about it. There's nothing redeeming in it. It's a plan built by losers to sustain losers and to cultivate losing.

ANY holdovers from the last two seasons, namely Nerlens (who I didn't mention before because they traded for him) is going to have loser wrapped up in his NBA life. They'll have an extremely hard time not just building with him, but getting to realize his potential when they've been doing their utmost to lose with him on the court.

It's just not conducive to a winning environment. Honestly who wants to play there? Nobody! If I got drafted by them, I'd honestly consider playing overseas until my draft rights expired.

put me on the anti-Hinkie team. must be great to be judged on hypotheticals instead of results. then again, he's morey's protege, so why break form?

I wholeheartedly agree with the bolded part, but I disagree that people like Noel will develop a losers mentality or something. It's one season for him. Next season is the make or break season for this experiment. If they have Embiid/Noel/Mudiay and they are still losing and avoiding good players on their roster, then it's a failure. At this point, it's still too early. I honestly think, as shady and unethical as this experiment has been, the Sixers will end up being a very good team for a while. I think they win 30-35 games next season. 45 or so the following, then they become an Eastern Conference power for a long time.

To me, the Nets and Knicks have definitely been the worst. They have made soooo many stupid decisions. They deserve those spots...unless it's a 2015-only thing. I'm still not sure how they're ranking these.

Would you like to place a friendly wager on that one? If the Sixers win more than 33 games or more next season you get to choose my avatar and signature. If they win less than 33 games, I pick your avatar and signature.

    What do you say?

Damn, I just seen that GM list; that's pretty bad. If Mitch retired, there's only 3 other GM's on that list, I would take...

Ummm ..... that's a long time realdeal. You could be hurting depending how mean he wants to be. Vice versa but I'd have more faith in you not twisting the knife. I mean look at the expression on his face. [IMG]
