As he said himself , NBA teams have video guys who are better than him ...

He had one guy who used to be a video coordinator for the Clippers and Spurs on one of his podcasts , it was interesting ...

the posture issue with randle is crazy. and he's not the only player who does this, but his violations are the most noteworthy. i mean, aren't you taught this from like, day one? do modern coaches really just tell really tall and talented kids that basic fundamentals simply don't count if you're naturally gifted enough? being in a proper stance (with your damn hands at the ready as well--another pet peeve of mine) should be second nature. i probably couldn't play a pick up game right now and not do this because it was so thoroughly drilled into my head for years.

"In a way, he (Randle) is the key to the growth of this Lakers team on the defensive end, as his ups and downs can take the team with him in either direction."

    This.

I don't know if any of you saw this last night but the great Laker Film Room guy did essentially a Live (with 1-3 seconds lag) commentary and analysis of the game last night against Portland. If you are really serious about and get geeked about all the different play sets we run like me you'll love this. He's planning on doing this again and possibly for every game.

He answered live questions in the chat during timeouts and overall is was very well done for the first time he and his colleagues produced this type of Live Analysis during the game. I asked for copy of the recording, which he plans to release as a podcast for those that maybe DVR'd the game and want to sync up his live analysis with the game again.

    Here it is:

Looking forward to this again, as the Portland Live Analysis telecast was great!
