wondering if there were other useful chants his name could be used for and ran across this little gem

    https://www.thesportster.com/entertainment/top-10-best-sports-chants/#9-tiny-cox

If he's a big, I suppose you could roll with "We've got big d****"

His latest has us taking Hawkins, who you might have seen in last night's championship game.

Another tall guard though. We have DLO, Reaves and Christie. Here’s a blurb prior to final four:

    24 Jordan Hawkins 6-5 So. G
West Region Most Outstanding Player averaging 17.2 points, shooting 42.2 percent from 3 and 15-for-16 from foul line. Imagine if he didn't limit nearly all of his production to the second half!

I feel like we never take anyone that's really on my radar lol. But our draft picks tend to pan out so I'll be interested to see who we go with.

I watched a couple of games with this guy and thought he kind of sucked. I don't think he has much NBA upside but heck, what do I know?!?

yeah, same. i say these things knowing we'll draft someone nobody expects who then exceeds all expectations, lol.

i feel like guys i've wanted have done pretty well, though! i was hoping we'd take hardy last year (and christie may in fact end up better), and he's looked good when he's gotten time.

poor man's yao. had he come into the league 20 years ago, he'd be a surefire lotto pick. now, i'd use a mid-second on him maybe. i don't think he can even play drop coverage in the nba. i think he also has issues playing heavy minutes? he started playing ball late, i think, so maybe he builds on it. he's certainly huge and has some skill.

My only pick I guessed on never really panned out.

    Dragon Bender!

maybe I put too much stock in names. Glad we have an excellent scouting department

All I can say is this...we're going to either end up with someone that dropped from being a projected lotto pick or we're going to end up with a player that is ready to contribute on day 1 because they had more experience (Sophomore/Junior) in college.

Either way the fact that we probably get to add a rotation player from the draft to this core is INSANE.

If we don’t trade it. Or are we hopefully prevented from trading it?

I think we can trade the player we picked but not the pick itself

yeah, i meant to say that, too. the last time we had a 1st, we moved it with an expiring for schroder. i could see us doing that again for an upgrade on beasley or bamba.
