Wonder if the Doc stuff will cause us to hold off on hiring anyone soon. Seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

If the already soft market dries up because we're waiting on this bum, we're up s***s creek and there's only dried poop logs to use as a paddle.

For Westbrook it would mean benching him since he's a negative on both ends of the floor.

I’ve been saying it, I will remain worried about the possibility of Doc until we officially sign someone else. There is too much smoke around Doc to take Morey’s previous statements at face value.

The superstars do whatever they want everywhere. The coaches job is to get the other guys in line. If you lose your best players it's a wrap. The salary disparity let's you know who really has the juice.

right. who can do that? i mean, russ is a super 6th man at this point in his career, but nobody can pull that off. not rivers or mark jackson or phil jackson or gregg popovich or the ghost of red auerbach.

this makes me feel better in that it seems like it's still outside speculation not inside sources indicating this.

but yeah, charlotte is going to take ham like phx took williams, aren't they?

I don't see many superior coaches like in the old days, who would be the ideal candidate if you had a choice of any nba coaches .

The Doc stuff continuing to come up is just depressing. Because it tells you the people in charge don’t know what they’re doing, they’re just looking for a bigger name coach. If they’d actually been watching him or analyzed the jobs he’s done they wouldn’t want him. If he’s hired here I’m not watching, my fandom will be on pause.

OK I’ve pondered this as have all of you and I think it would be awesome with Ham and even more awesomer :p with Stotts on staff for Xs and Os and general HC support and advice.

With a couple no brainer concessions for the FO to give Him.

Green light if Brick is brought back to get into him GOOD in front of team or however Darvin personally likes to do it …. maybe private. Brick has this constant macho attitude but Ham is much bigger and tougher I’d wager than him. Then challenge him any way a tough coach in any sport would to do things the right way or he sits (indefinitely) and (can really feel the wrath of Lakers Nation). Man that would be embarrassment. I would think. Should bring about an attitude adjustment by one means or another.

    :Fishwink:

    Of course no meddling either!!!

    Easy peasy :)
