i feel like we've seen some interesting prospects in the workouts already, and no way all of them get drafted. would be amazing if we found another reaves/caruso/THT/clarkson level player.
Nance Jr and Kuzma from 2nd round want into conversation too since we have trade exception money to buy a couple picks there if wanted.
nance and kuz were 1st rounders, though. all the ones i named were seconds we bought or udfas. that's where we're at this year in terms of options.
but nance/kuz/hart were all late 1sts, too, so not that far off. lonzo over tatum is the only real draft blunder in years, and it's not like lonzo was a bust, just not as good as several drafted later.
Quick data dump on each... Moore Quinones Bryce's tweet on Quinones has A LOT of highlights and data. Definitely worth a look if you're reading up on the prospects.
As someone else mentioned though, accurately IMO, even if we had Tatum for a short period he would have been gone just like Ingram for AD. Maybe we could have then kept Ingram though or whatever next stud we drafted, not needing Ingram?
with looney carving out a great role for himself in gs over the years, trevion williams looks like an interesting prospect.
Certainly looks it. Need to ID him, he looks young enough to be Greg Oden's great great grandson. Quick observation on who we've been working out: seems the point of emphasis is bigger wings who are 3 &/or D guys (are we learning?), followed by smart floor general PGs. Like the focus, hopefully the scouts can narrow it down to a few solid options and Rob can buy a pick and maybe and snatch another as a UDFA.
