LOL No! I was adamant that Kuzma was going to be the 1st player inducted while still an active player.

    :D

*Chicago. Where all our players go at this point.

Don't believe we have any rights to him from what I can tell via the Google. Hopefully he feels a sense of loyalty for the opportunity and likes LA.

Scary thought @abeer3. How in Flying F would it hurt and how dangerous not to, considering shrimps we are and inexpensive centers not growing on trees and our horrible 3-4 year run of losing them, would it be to sign him to an end of bench contract. Shirley he’d likely play more than that. Defense against bench players Bigs depth at the least but he’s got some nice big man offensive skills too.

Before it becomes obvious in SL and we lose him. Yet another ONE.

Would you think they have understanding that if he’s offered like a minimum contract elsewhere he’ll at least check with Lakers first to see if willing to match or counter offer? We typically until plans turn to s*** like to keep at least one roster spot open during season and have several currently from guys not coming back.

yeah, i'm not going crazy over huff or anything. my man gorgui is still out there.

but he's been with us and developing, and i think it's weird that pippen and swider got our two-ways.

I would have thought that, seems like smart business BUT with how we bobbled the Stan situation last year, I'm not so sure.

    To recap:
    South Bay claimed him 11/15
Let the Bulls poach him on 12/9 while we had zero size or wing depth on the real squad. Luckily injuries/covid situation in Chi Town prevented him from playing and he made his way back to us and began the first of many 10 day contracts with the Lakers on Christmas Eve.

So after that lack of foresight, I wouldn't be so sure. Unless we've learned or Rob will over correct and offer him a 4 year deal.

Then make him decent on defense, better than what Melo had left aside from his smarts and experience, and give him an end of bench slot and his 2-way to Huff?

I can’t remember but didn’t we switch up our 2 ways a couple times last year? If so, maybe we will do that again and drop one or both guys and pick up other players depending on how summer goes.

Yes we changed it around last season pulling guys off and adding different players onto it.
