The fact that we could get a win with LeBron going for 50 while the anchor that is Russ is dragging him down scoring 5 points on 2-11 shooting is even more impressive.

    Excellent game.

Let's see if he sits out against Pheonix now.

Dude is kind of good, who knew?
From the day he was traded here, he always spoke very high of our fan base and gave us praise. I think, he really appreciates being a Laker :)

Crazy efficiency. Scored 50 on 70+% shooting? Come on.

yeah, 18 made FGs is a lot, too. most guys get 50 these days with at least 15 points from the free throw line.

Some of his turnaround fadeaways are ridiculous. Kobe would be proud.

Dominated the 3rd with 19 points. A Ram must've shown up during halftime.

    Impressive at any age.

Back when Kobe and Bron were going at it, I was convinced that Lebron was only a few years away from having his athleticism decline and becoming similar to what we’re currently seeing from Russ. Always said that Lebron had no jumper or touch offensively, and was only dominant because of his athleticism.

Now over a decade later, Lebron’s putting up 50 in a Laker uniform, with 30 foot 3 pointers and turnaround contested fadeaways that barely touch the net. Unreal.

More reason to fire Frank IMO. He’s got this obvious winning strategy on his hands, I don’t know why doesn’t simply chose to employ it more often?!

losing in the 2011 finals is what finally got lebron to work on his shot. his 3pt % and FG% both went up to numbers he wasn't even close to before then. now if only he had put in the same work on improving his FT shooting

Just realize that Bron is leading the league in scoring right now.

Impressive, until I take a gander at our record.
Sure it’s exciting, kinda, for one evening.

He has his sites on Kareem record, unfortuantely, I kind of preferred him in 2019 mode dishing it off , racking up more assists, getting others more involved.

Let's be real. Lebron came to the Lakers to exploit the extremely large Laker fan base here in LA to help propel his after basketball career. He needs the fans to like him. If it was only about playing in LA, the Clippers were a better option when he signed.

He can't cross the Laker fans as we are an important part of his post basketball plan.

I wish more of this LeBron spoke. He has a very bio-polarish response to things. This is the good part. Where common sense meets accountability. The other one is emotional and ill informed, with a seasoning of delusional.

he's just super unaccustomed to not getting his way. both his and westbrook's behavior at times this year made me miss kobe more. feel like if he's around, he'd be in their ears with some wisdom from his own mistakes in a way they could hear it. though in westbrook's case, he may have just been a shoulder to cry on, as i think westbrook's s***tiness is something that would have happened to kobe if he became a late-career mercenary, too.
