The annoying part is you know this diva is going to go all out on both ends of the floor in 7 games when they play at Cleveland. He is 185 points away from passing Malone for second place all-time in scoring.

at least ben simmons hit a guy for fts. reaves made a great cut for the layup, there, too, but he hit melo for the contested long jumper.

    :KobeConfused:

He determined early in his drive that he was going to go to Melo regardless of how the play developed.

Melo was open but Bron paid no attention to the Houston defenders, their proximity and failed to count on any close out on Melo. They got to him QUICK. Russ has position secured thanks to a no call offensive foul and AR is behind him too.

Clear dump off option for Russ or an all but guaranteed offensive rebound for him if Bron goes up and misses (that's a layup he can make)... Russ' man is on the f***ing ground. Russ had his best game of this calendar year, if there's a play to trust him on it's this one. We could've really used the boost that would've given him too.

They were in Melo's space in 1 second. Forcing a difficult look that Bron forced him into... again. Bron loves putting Melo in bad positions for game winners.

again, reaves had an in-stride layup.

in fairness, i've defended simmons to some degree for his play--sometimes you just don't see it properly or feel like you're in a bad spot to finish cleanly--but this is supposed to be lebron's thing.

Part of me is happy about this. Lebron typically GM's his way into creating rosters that are complete and total dumpster fires, but leaves the year before things are really bad. He GM'd his way to this roster and hes trapped in it.

But it wont matter. The media (other than Skip Bayless) will blame Frank Vogel, blame Rob Pelinka, blame Mercury being in retrograde...Lebron will still be considered perfect despite his track record of being an absolute cancer on a teams roster. He's like a superpower that you wish for, but it kills another part of you slowly.

    Hes a crossroads demon.

i've said it repeatedly, but i was so happy when we didn't make a panic move at the deadline, just for what it symbolized: your time as general manager is over; let the professionals try to dig us out of this.

One thing about Bron is that every time when he has a bad shooting night, he comes back strong next game every time.

Eh, two 50 pieces within a week at the age of 37? Big deal.

Dude said he wanted to play with his son in the future. Ship him out!

Great bounce back game. He looked a lot younger as far as his movement tonight.

Sensational! Love what he said post game too with Trudell. It’s so crazy I used to not be able to stand this guy, but now that he’s a Laker I’m a huge fan.

Yeah I loved what he had to say after the game, honestly he’s kinda been kissing the fanbase’s butts after his All Star weekend comments lol

Lebron was getting booed at home a few games ago. Compare this response from Lebron to how Russ has acted this past week.

just crazy to me that he can still score at this rate at his age and with 19 seasons plus all those playoff runs and olympics in his legs

not too bad for a guy who has never been considered a pure scorer. enjoy it while it lasts
