Props to Bron. Only Laker who came ready, wanting to go home, and respect the a Mamba jerseys.

I just want to be the first to say that IF we lose this series, and Lebron's Finals record falls to 3 and 7, he'll still be considered one of the best of all time. Sometimes your team just can't do enough. It's not his fault.

So did few other players. Garbage all around, AD and KCP excluded.

Take the last shot. Eff passing the ball to lesser talented guys.

You the man so act like one and take the dam shot.

After the sting of this loss, I want to rewatch and appreciate the Bron vs Butler battle. One for the record books. That will be referenced for many decades from now.

Jimmy Butler needs to be defended by Lebron

I don't think he had a shot there.

the challenge is that's not his game. They packed the paint with 4 guys on him I think, so he did the old drive and dish to get someone an open look. But they are playing the passing lanes, and the pass was just so-so and went to a player that just hasn't been playing well.

AD gets pushed around in the paint. I don't love our down a point need to score to win options at the ends of games. James is great, but creating his own shot from nothing is not his thing. If it's not a layup, it's a 3. Not often in between or with any confidence.

Bron didnt, it was the correct play. However, I can 100% tell you Kobe would have pulled up from the mid range there.

I feel bad for him ... Created open shots all night which resulted in bricks

Of course he didnt. He drove to the teeth of the defense into the paint.

Norm Nixon just said it too...he should have taken that last shot...this is what Miami wants to do, anybody but Lebron

He drove deep into the paint because his midrange/In-between/ pull up game shaky

He would have, for sure. But that was Kobe's game, hit or miss. Bron's decision was 100% correct, Green had great open shot. The kind of shot Dwight makes in practice with regularity.

That kind of pullup probably isn't Bron's game.

I think we all miss knowing who was going to take that shot and confidently living or dying with the results.

Passing to your 3rd tier overpaid underperforming star and calling it the right play? Sigh. I suppose it is, but I'd rather the ball be in my star's hands to take that shot.

If he worked on that shot of course.

We wasted a ridiculous game from him, all because our bench was scurred. So damn disappointed, he only has so many games like this left in him.

Our young crew of first time finalists have now been in a close out games and see how the stars bring it. Hopefully they learn from that and are better prepared for next game.

This type of experience pays long term dividends. I'm going to have to look at the positive in this one.

Also, I want to see Dudley get some spot minutes and contribute to this championship on the court. I think that matters.

Dudley will probably hit the open shot more than Green.
